Flares Ruin Be the Zombie.

With the Abundance of Flare Spam. In part Due to the Item Duplication Glitch and also in part to how easily they are made.

A Solo Survivor can use Flares in such a way that You have no way to win.

When going against 2 or more Survivors using this Tactic. The Problem is compounded even more.

Suggested fix: give the Hunter the Ability to Extinguish Flares or Allow the Hunter to Disable Survivors ability to spam with them.

At least then, the Hunter would have a means to Win against this Tactic.

As mentioned before the groundpound will disable any flare in its radius. Also the uv suppressant spit (the purple spit) will also disable flares within its radius which gives you a ranged option as well. If you time your approach to coincide just as the spit explodes you should be able to get a free pounce to any human that stays in the flare's radius. Also consider using the spit slam when you have the skill unlock to add uv suppressant effect to a ground pound. Any human that is hit by that ground pound can immediately be pounced.

Another tidbit I'd like to bring up is that the human is vulnerable during his throw animation for a pounce.

There are fixes incoming to fix duplication glitches which will hopefully alleviate the flare spam in the future.

As Chaos said before it is rather hard to do anything with this kurczak glitch in place. I fought numerous people and it is even harder for the low levels of hunter that do not have those abilities. So i am glad to hear there is a patch in play for this because being blinded then smacked because of these flares not allowing a pounce or the spits really doing any good when even chaos said about the numerous flares on the ground they just run away to make new ones quickly.

Ground pounds destroy flares but if they quickly hop out of the way or continue to move backwards while throwing flares then it's meaningless. You'll just be endlessly chasing them through a sea of flares losing your ability to escape and leaving yourself vulenarble. The only time I see this being useful is when they're inside a room or against a wall but even that's risky because by the time you have a enough energy to follow up with a pounce they've eithered already laid down another flare or close in on you for 1-2 hit kill.

Spits also disable flares but the cooldown makes it impossible to stop an endless amount of flares, not to mention it the explosion time and AOE are not long are large enough to stop them from throwing flares in another direction and moving over there. When someone is moving and throwing and endless amount of flares all over the place then they are essentially creating their own mobile safehouse.

The problem here is that they shouldn't be coming into the game with 100+ flares because there's no risk to abusing them. The only sure way of getting a kill with the Night Hunter is like you said with UV suppressant spit slam > pounce. This is only because they have no way to quickly recover and start laying down flares, a huge problem imo. It's hard enough to hit someone with a spit attack. If they do get hit they deserve to die, the survivor doesn't need to counter everything the Night Hunter does and all the hard work he puts into even getting just one kill (2 UV suppressant spits + ground pound + UV block = guaranteed kill).
