New Things To Keep Dying Light Interesting

Recommended Posts

These are all things I think should be added to keep this game going and alive!

1. People need something to work towards, increase the stat trees from 24-25 to 35 adding even more combos, abilities, ect.

2. Weapons, everyone likes stabbing and beating but why not add more guns? A few ideas are a good bolt action sniper, rpg and a lmg. Also camos could be crafted or bought as dlc for $4.99.

3. Also small boats and helicopters. Reason being let's face it, the roads are to hard to rework but the sky and water is still open. Even possibly add "Divers" a water only zombie that is some what powerful and can break your boat.

4. People love killing zombies, to keep them interested add more new weapons and upgrades. Place new weapons in new places. Create a new small part of Harran.

5. Lastly, people will keep asking for it so add findable food and water to hard mode. Along with that add thirst hunger and injury.

None of these except #3 and 5 are to hard to code into the game and would be a nice addition.

1: This I can agree on

2: Hell no. Especially for an RPG/LMG weapon. You shoot off either of those, you'll have every runner in the game coming in on your location, and an RPG is overkill.

3: We are getting buggy's soon. And Helicopters/boats just would ruin the style of the game anyway, what would you do in the helicopter? Unless you somehow hijack a military one, learn how to pilot it and can refuel it, you'll just be in a giant zombie attraction device. As for boats, there is no point, all water locations are swimable and no zombie can enter the water without dying, you'd have nothing to really use a boat for.

4: This is coming in the next DLC, a whole stadium of new content and areas to contain new weapons such as bows. Also even if it wasn't coming in the DLC it'd take a lot of coding to put in the game, requiring a DLC anyway.

5: This is a bit iffy. In hard mode, not only would you have to worry about untrackable runners/infected but you'd have to keep track of stats at the same time. In a slow paced game with trackable enemies, sure it'd be a good challenge, but in a game where if you get distracted for one second it can kill you, no. Add to that you'd have to hunt down the food/water etc while dealing with the zombies, which in hard mode can swarm a location resulting in a battle that, using in-game time, can take hours to finish, by then you'd be getting exhausted from hunger, your stamina wouldn't be regenerating and you'd be unable to defend yourself.
