  1. Gamertag is YeahFishken. I was playing in my friends game and while we were doing a quest, someone joined and the game started lagging crazily. My friend kicked him and my other friend said don't join back. The player persisted to join back and we kicked him again. He joined two more times and the fourth time he joined back all our games crashed. We all started up Dying Light again but all our saves have been reset (quest wise (We lost all our progress of the games story and now have to redo it all)). My friend hosting the game went to bed as my other friend and I continue to play. We both acknowledge what we lost and tried to get it all back. I lost just my missions, it seemed at first, and he lost his missions and his trust rank. He regained his trust rank and we continued to play until the quest "Anomalies". I then got off for an hour and got back on. I thought I might check my progress on my Campaign of the normal story. It was blank and when I loaded the save up (for the normal Campaign) it put me into the Following campaign and I had no missions, no safe zones, nothing was accessible. My game is confirmed to be screwed and it because of either the game being bugged and scripts screwed themselves or another player had some form of modification attached to his online connection that screws the scripts over and leaves them wiped. Really hope ya's read this and get on top of this as soon as possible because my friends and I almost quit playing the game for good. Find a way to convince for backup saving as well. So if a glitch happens to take place in a player's game, they can reset the game to a particular spot before the glitch happened and I mean a backup system outside the game like cloud.

  3. Now that the deveveloper tools are being released and Techland supports mods, we need a modding focused threat to help people with the editor of the game and the data files to edit values, constants and variables. I my self am starting to get involved in this but as a new comer to modding this game I struggled while making some changes to the damage values, specifically to the mele damage of the fists. So if anyone knows the where abouts of the file where I can edit this help me please, aslo I'm willing to help and sopport other inexperienced modders. Cheers!
  4. I have a problem with Dying Light, I can't change the resolution from 1176x664, and it seems Techland doesn't want to do anything about it. It kinda worked for me before (at least, I was able to change resolution to 1280x720, but since some small patch from Techland, I can't change the crappy 1176x664 resolution at all. I've opened a ticket, and this is the correspondence: ---------------- Hello, I've pre-ordered the game, but I still havn't played it yet. Doesn't this game support interlaced TVs? I have one 1080i TV, and I play usualy in 1920x1080, but with Dying Light, I can't even change the resolution from 1176x664. My PC is connected directly with HDMI on my TV. Its a Toshiba Regza 37A3000P. I was able to set a resolution of 1280x720, before the last one or two patches, or three, (don't know). I can start and play the game, but I wwant to play in 1920x1080 like my other games. My native Monitor resolution is also 1920x1080, but Dying Light forces me to play in 1176x664. ------------------------------------------------------ Please try connecting another display device/monitor and see if the problem persists. We cannot guarantee the game works correctly on a particular TV model. The issue could also be due to the TV's drivers not responding correctly. ------------------------------------------------------ THX, but how many TVs do you think I have? So is there no way, I, or you, can do? Thats a shame, cause I have spent money for a game, I cant play properly. I dont understand, why all other games can work correctly with my TV... and its a realy common TV (here in germany). And besides... the game was able to run in 1280x720, before there were some updates/patches by techland. So, I think you might do something with a next patch? ----------------------------------------------------- It is possible that the way the game renders and displays graphical data will change with future patches, but we cannot guarantee anything as far as TV models go. The game has been tested on standard computer monitors and works as such. Best Regards Grzegorz Krawczyk, TECHLAND ----------------------------------------------------- "The game has been tested on standard computer monitors and works as such." Thats realy well done, its mandatory though, but there are people like me, who play on a TV, so I might sugest, you support them aswell. This game is a console port and it shouldn't be that much effort to support a such banal and standard featurelike changing the resolution, at all, because Techland already broke this "feature" with a tiny patch/update. You say, this game works fine with monitors, so what you realy saying is, "Best regards, but you can kiss our chupacabra, we already have your money." ----------------- So, I know, that there are more people, like me, out there, who have problems with their resolution in Dying Light, should we realy have to live with it, not being able to play the game, we've paid for properly? Or is there a way, to fix this, or make it work? 5. So I really love Dying light, been playing it for hours. I have my agility at Rank 22 and my strength at 24. But my survivor Rank is stuck at 24 (max is 25) it says I have 474000 XP and nex level is in 475000 and I won't gain/lose any XP for that Rank... Please tell me they will patch this right away I wish to not start over... plus this whole fear of my characters stats, inventory, and storage resetting (As people are talking about) I am eager that they find a fix for all of this right away. Anyone else having this issue? Also this happened to me on Xbox One
  6. So, in a post yesterday you asked me to PM my details to get help, I tried and it wouldn't allow me to send. I have tried repeatedly for the last 24 hours to no avail. I know you guys are busy with the issues ongoing, but I just want to know that help with my issue is in the queue, but it is annoying to continue re-writing my PM over and over again. So I guess, please let me know when there is room for me to PM you? Thx
  7. A few bugs I've encountered are mostly visual and audio. Some are black screens and being stuck at the loading screen. A frequent bug I've been experiences is that some areas will not completely load. They'll be partially loaded and textures will be low and fuzzy. There will also be no sound in these areas. The map is even fuzzy in these areas. Some areas load just fine and everything works as it should. But I've been encountering random areas where there is a difficulty with this bug. If I'm doing a quest or story mission in one of these areas, it will freeze whenever it comes to a loading screen.
  8. So I started the game. Smooth running, 60 FPS....UNTIL I meet the quartermaster. Everything starts to drop and change. I am now running at 30 - 50 FPS. The game is quite choppy. It happens only after you meet the quartermaster. I thought it was an isolated incident till my two other friends have the same issue AT THE QUARTERMASTER. Please patch? Otherwise, interesting game so far...
