  1. I walk down a scary street at night. Not sure what horrors await me behind any corner. The atmosphere is perfect. I turn off the hud and don't use survivor sense to really immerse myself. As I move through the dark I'm suddenly alerted...by... my.. hud? Eyeball icons pop up over enemies heads. They warn me of the danger while also tagging enemies for me. I can't turn it off... I CAN'T TURN IT OFF! ..... I don't want to know where the monsters are. I don't want to know when I'm in danger. When I turned off the HUD, I want the ENTIRE hud off. Why are these icons still warning me of monsters? WHY CAN'T I TURN THEM OFF!? So as I wander in the darkness, spoiler after spoiler pops up. Monster over there.. and over there.. and over there. Oh wow, I wouldn't have seen him.. that would have been terrifying. ..... but that wonderful eyeball let me know well in advance. My pulse never climbing. No adrenaline rush. No sense of fear. These MANDATORY warnings ruin the game for me. I just want to turn them off so I can enjoy being in danger WITHOUT KNOWING IT! I want to suddenly hear the gurgles of a monster in the dark. Knowing that it means I've been spotted but having no clue where the monster is. I want panic to set in from being UNAWARE! However any time I actually am spotted. The game let's me know not only that I have been spotted, but who spotted me and where they are. Please please please, make it so when I turn off the hud... make it disable THE ENTIRE HUD. Please get rid of these eyeball icons on my screen. I don't use survivor sense but it doesn't matter. The game insists on warning me of danger. Constantly giving me information I DON'T WANT TO KNOW! It literally is the only thing standing between me and enjoying this game. Please make it optional, not mandatory. Thank you for your time. (This issue was posted on before however there was confusion regarding it. This is a repost to better clarify my issue and desire.) PS: This literally makes or breaks the game for me. If these warnings are never made optional. I just can't see myself enjoying the game. It will end up never being played all because of a simple hud element that could easily be made optional.

    Too Much Blur

Hi there! I love the game, but I hate the visual effects. Even disabling motion blur, there is a lot of visual effects that makes the image a lot of blurry. The biggest one is when I'm running, all the image takes a blurry effects except the center area. I'm sure you did that to makes a speed effect, but the fact is that almost of the screen seems blurry, and the worse is that I spend about 50% of the time running, so it is too blur for my eyes. Also I thing the game abuse about others effects like depth of field, chroma aberration, desaturation of colors and blurry vision each time you get out of water. All of that leave me a feeling that I'm playing a blurry game with worse graphics than it actually have. And my eyes automatically relax when I switch to another game without that amount of noise visual effects. Please, add options to disable that visual effects. Thanks.
  3. I really hope someone can help me figure this one out because it's just boggling me and I've tried numerous things now. If I boot up the game with something, anything in my second monitor active (like skype) then it freaks out and just shows me a black screen. The audio still plays on and if I type something in skype or use my second monitor in anyway then the audio stops playing, shows what's on screen and seems to work fine but it's inactive and I can't do anything with it. As soon as I go back to my main monitor then the audio resumes playing but my screen turns black again......it's like the idiot doesn't know when exactly the main screen is active. If I don't use anything on my second monitor then it boots up fine, no black screen of anything. However if I even dare to change even one setting (doesn't seem to matter whether I change subtitles to on, or something graphical) then the screen goes black and it doesn't go back to the game. Furthermore.....it's stuck in this. I have to reboot my computer in order to fix it. I haven't even dared to try to pick the 'new game' option I'm using Windows 7 Professional service pack 1, 64 bits I have a Intel i7-4790, 3.60 ghz 16 GB of RAM And one of the AMD Radeon HD 7900 series graphics cards All in all, I should be able to run the game. Maybe not on anything but the minimum settings but I should at least be able to run the game. Things I have tried: running steam on administrator, running the game on administrator, doing both of those at the same time, running the game from the exe in the map and running the game as administrator from the map (which doesn't even make it to the black screen, just loads endlessly), changing the service pack being used, Validating the game cache, re-installing, rebooting (seems to be a one-time fix......unless I use the second monitor for something or change one of the options) I'm at the end of my rope here and the problem just boggles my mind. I have no idea how to solve it and while I'm computer savvy enough to try out these few things I am not computer savy enough to come up with anything else. Any help would be appreciated.
