  1. ALERT! The game is still crashing. And when you buy equipment now, it will spawn at the Dam in Montana map. The vehicles can be recovered, but the spreaders, seeders, trailers, etc. cannot be recovered, only sold back to store. This is very disappointing and very unprofessional. Why did this developer push a broken game out so fast without testing it properly. Now, they have pushed a broken patch out. I just reloaded the game after the crash and now all my trailers, spreaders, seeders have vanished....GONE!! This is an absolute joke!
  2. After i installed the new Patch, i went to buy the new tractor and car mods they gave us for appreciation. It won't let me choose a shed to put them in, and won't let me buy them at the store in the map. Anyone have any suggestions or having this issue also? Update!! The free DLC tractor and car will spawn at the Dam (Montana map). All you have to do is use "Vehicle Recovery" to get them back on dry land and in a shed of your choosing. Note! You will also have to repair them being they were spawned in "Crashed" condition.
  3. I've sent a few questions to the devs about the dev tools and they seem to ignore it. It seems they just dump the devtools on us and not help in anyways. 3 things that i and a most dying light map makers can't figure out. 1. Making airdrops work 2. advanced scripts 3. AI driven vehicles like in the game ?? ,drive-ai <<??>> HumanAI DriverSam ,drive <<??>> CarBuggy ?? I am sure this list could be expanded to 10 things easily. Dunno why they can't give us examples like these 3 things.
  4. Would most players not want a rear view mirror? It could be a new three stage novice skill tree path (novice because a rear view mirror seems pretty basic for driving, especially when you have bad things chasing you all the time): simple mirror --> rear mounted spot light (aligned with rear view vision field) --> panoramic mirror wings (these should simply add blind spot vision, by extending the mirror a little on each side with convex mirrors) I will grant you that the front field of view when siting in the buggy is already a little real estate poor, so the size of a centrally mounted rear view mirror near the car level progress bar up top should be carefully considered, and the optional convex mirror wings may not be an option at all, but BASIC MIRROR and NIGHT SPOT LIGHT skill tree options seem like basic options and are painfull (literally and figuratively!) not to have. Very imporant last point, if the convex mirror wings WERE an option, it would be critical that they were add-ons that did not disrupt or change the original basic mirror area. It would suck if the whole mirror became convex. The only practical (visually comfortable) way to gain additional angle of view with basically one mirror is to add mini mirrors on a flat mirror's edges. We've all seen examples of this on non-apocalyptic cars on the roads today, except that they are often tacked right ON the mirror instead of added to the edge (I don't like compromising the original mirror to gain aditional view field). In any event, the development mechanics of convex mirrors, to essentially do the job of side mirrors may be impractical for you guys and I get that. Just getting a straight rear view that worked in day AND NIGHT would be huge. Thanks, - Enthusiastically counting the days to the beginning... ...of the end
  5. Dying Light is a huge success, what an amazing game it is. I know you're currently working on Hellraid, which looks awesome by the way. But here's an idea for a future game, which I think would be fantastic. Your game engine would work GREAT in a Gladiator style game, I'm talking similar to the TV series Spartacus, or the movie Gladiator. It could be based around Rome, the slavery of Gladiators. The protagonist could be the master that enslaves you, or the ruler of the Kingdom. I can't think of a better game engine other than yours that would work so well in creating this game. Co-op is so fun on Dying Light! Imagine a similar co-op game experience in a Gladiator war based game! Just.. damn I wish it was a thing. In my opinion, your game engine has the potential to make a game like this become something huge, it'd be such a fun and different game. I'm not sure if others would agree with me on this, I just enjoy thinking about these kind of things.
  6. Guys im in lvl 25 now and I can't find ANY blunt weapons at all in this game, I had alot earlier but not they just stopped existing?? Dafuq? If this is your doing, developers, I would very much like to know why! Because why would you now want to use that two handed sledgehammer and see the zombies go flying? Do you really hate blunt weapons this much? Please put them back in, this doesn't make any sense at all man :/
  7. Well i started this thread to ask the basic idea of. will splitscreen ever happen for dying light and if it will how will it be implemented? i was thinking since it is not coming with the original game then maybe it could come in a future update or dlc package. well techland and community. also i believe that splitscreen should be an option. then it wont take away from any other aspect of the game. maybe also have a super sandbox mode where you can make a map out of the area like gta V did. well i'll update this forum when i get more ideas. also will there be guns in this game? or just zombie whacking tools? EDIT: will guns be practical or craptical like dead rising?
