    Just some questions

Hi, Just three simple questions: Is the developer tool available for the GOG Version? Is it possible to copy the save files from my GOG version to the Steam Version if i buy it too? Is it possible to export the ingame Files (3D Meshes, Textures, etc) from the Developer Toolkit to use them inside another game engine like Unreal4? best regards I30R6
  2. So i was making a map, when i decided to create a new area. Suddenly, when playtesting, it started bugging out alot, and it started flashing the wall texture: (picture below) http://imgur.com/c3mYd88 Then, after some more playtesting, whole walls were gone. It worked fine before, but this time, every wall was gone. http://imgur.com/FAmwsGH In the editor, it looks completely fine: http://imgur.com/cBaZKmR And doors were missing, aswell as AI, and my playermodel! http://imgur.com/Dh4GPyV http://imgur.com/jApzdin Please help me, as i am very frustrated, and dont know what to do! Thanks in advance.
  3. Title says it all really, can't find anything online.
  4. Hello everyone! I've bought Dying Light on the weekend (Saturday more precisely) on the site G2A, and I've played 22 hours so far, completing the game. I was wondering about the Developer Tools, and when I looked after it, it wasn't in the Tools tab. After some research, I've seen that it SHOULD be there, but it's not there. I read that other people has the same problem too. Any suggestions? (I've checked it NOT ONCE, it's not there, believe me.) Also, I heard that the game has a workshop, but I don't have that either. Here are some screenshots of my Tools library: Even after searching for "Dying", it did not appear: EDIT: I do not have "The Following" DLC, just the plain game, maybe that is the problem?
  5. Would most players not want a rear view mirror? It could be a new three stage novice skill tree path (novice because a rear view mirror seems pretty basic for driving, especially when you have bad things chasing you all the time): simple mirror --> rear mounted spot light (aligned with rear view vision field) --> panoramic mirror wings (these should simply add blind spot vision, by extending the mirror a little on each side with convex mirrors) I will grant you that the front field of view when siting in the buggy is already a little real estate poor, so the size of a centrally mounted rear view mirror near the car level progress bar up top should be carefully considered, and the optional convex mirror wings may not be an option at all, but BASIC MIRROR and NIGHT SPOT LIGHT skill tree options seem like basic options and are painfull (literally and figuratively!) not to have. Very imporant last point, if the convex mirror wings WERE an option, it would be critical that they were add-ons that did not disrupt or change the original basic mirror area. It would suck if the whole mirror became convex. The only practical (visually comfortable) way to gain additional angle of view with basically one mirror is to add mini mirrors on a flat mirror's edges. We've all seen examples of this on non-apocalyptic cars on the roads today, except that they are often tacked right ON the mirror instead of added to the edge (I don't like compromising the original mirror to gain aditional view field). In any event, the development mechanics of convex mirrors, to essentially do the job of side mirrors may be impractical for you guys and I get that. Just getting a straight rear view that worked in day AND NIGHT would be huge. Thanks, - Enthusiastically counting the days to the beginning... ...of the end
  6. Why is there no method to create and share own creations like in FarCry. Its totally easy and 100 % possible... They have the tools, they have the options but why arent they doing it?!

    Real Tools Please?

Dear Developers and Staff, I am an avid fan, and I appreciate your staff taking the time to release the Developer Tools. I was depressed to find out that the Tools released are basically simplified template designers. I had high hopes that I would be able to edit the main map, create new bases, defensive's, add more detail to the world, import new models, make new spawns, establish zones of higher levels of zombies, horde creation, zombie pits, custom mercenary bases, new NPC's, new weapons, etc etc etc. The tools released cannot accomplish even one of those things. Please release an actual engine tool for advanced developers!
