  1. Problem: Currently the survivor can spam dodges (with minimal timing) to become completely immune from any tackles, and almost immune from even very well aimed spits. (I admit to doing this myself, sorry hunters) Possible Solution: An elegant solution to this problem would be to make dodges use stamina. Successful evades shouldn't use stamina, actually they should refill stamina to max. (to prevent the hunter from just tackling until the player runs out of stamina). (You wouldn't be able to evade a tackle at 0 stamina) This would make it so that the survivor(s) need to put at least SOME thought into dodging, and not just spam it wildly, this would make it so that if the Hunter is quick enough he can catch a human off guard.

Suggestions for improvements: OPTION TO EDIT HUD ( the gun and hook reticle is really annoying, stamina bar and action indicators that show up in the middle of the screen annoying too, let us remove all, remove partially etc.) IMPROVE STORE SYSTEM (eg. Let us actually see items/weapons we are buying like in GTA, good addition for a sequel) MORE VARIETY TO MELEE COMBAT (block with weapons, analog controls?) MORE TAKEDOWN ANIMATIONS (especially aerial and stealth) REVOLVER and LIGHT MACHINE GUN + BETTER GUNPLAY (controls should be like standard fps shooters + MORE GUNS) SOME SILENCED WEAPONS TOO (so glad there will be bow and arrow, now put a silenced shotgun whoooo) EXPLOSIONS SHOULD BE MORE EXPLOSIVE SURVIVAL MODE (defending your building/area against increasing waves of zombies, you can hide and use silent methods not draw in all zombies but you could also go guns blazing if you wanted as well. ) I'd be psycheddddddd Have a great Day whoever is reading this ! and offer your suggestions too about the guns and melee combat etc.

    Analog Combat!

    When the tools are out, someone please bring back that analog combat that was so loved from dead island!
  4. I love the game but is it just me or are the human NPC's insanely overpowered? The devs decide to not give us a block option but instead a dodge ability that sometimes doesn't even work. The NPC's get to block and do so very very frequently along with dodging. I end up having to use 4-5 medkits an encounter because of this and if I don't stay in close proximity, they just spam throwing stars with their auto aim. Some people's solutions are "well just use fire." Well you don't always have the items to make molotovs. I don't know how not having a block button is a good idea but if we can't block, at least make human NPC's more manageable. I am also having a huge problem with the zombies. After the first few quests, the zombies start to charge at you. Every single time without fail when they do this they intiate a "bite instance" when I hit them in the head or kick them (other zombies it knocks them back or toward the direction I am swinging.) Anyone else having these issues? *Yes, I know how to play the game. I am not just pulling this stuff out of the air.

    Developer Weapons

    My question is will we have similar developer mods that were in dead island such as the mind-blowing and plague bearing knifes ? I haven't seen any discussion on this. Thanks in advance !!
