    Companion App

Companion App has stopped working/connecting, yet still manages to send out notices that remind me that I haven't sent any scouts out recently....ahem, can't because the App does not connect anymore. Bad logic there, catch-22.

    Important Question..

Am I the only one having issues to where joining one friend is a problem. Me and this friend were able to play this co op since launch day, but since last week, Everytime I try to join his game, or he joins mine, after a couple seconds it kicks us out and says connection could not be established blah blah blah. Then while we're in a party on PS4, it cuts his mic out then says cannot voice chat because of NAT type issues..
  3. This has been happening since the digital release. I have changed modems and tried port forwarding. I have not once been able to successfully join a game since release. Please help Is this a common issue or are we waiting for techland or psn to pull their head out of their A$$. I keep getting the error "Cannot Establish connection to server". I have tried Restarting modem Resetting modem Resetting Ps4 Resetting Licenses on ps4 Different modems Forwarding ports What else is there?
  4. I've been playing Be the Zombie a couple of times now and then, but so far I just invaded maybe around 7 or 12 games and I kept getting "Connection to game could not be established" or something like that, I have good wi-fi, I got around 92% connection and it keeps showing me that problem, plus the survivors keep camping in safe zones and in buildings. It's getting very frustrating and I don't want that, its no challenge or fun anymore. Also how can you guys show a preview of 'Be the Zombie' game so easily, like they never found the zombie easily, but I kept getting spotted even from far away. Lastly, the connection to "Quick Join" keeps connecting me to a 1 player map, and I no other players. Whats the deal with your connection about this, and the other bugs and issues everyone is having, if you guys really made it from your hearts, then all we see is a bit failure, please fix these issues for everyone and make us happy again. If you really mean it, do it, don't just be in the dark and hear our complaints. I know this isn't part of the issue I'm talking about, but I'm upset as the rest of the people are with their issues.
  5. I cannot play join an online match no matter what. Everytime i try to join a match it says one either one of the two following statements, "Unable to join the game" and "Connection to the game you have tried to join could not be established." Random players have joined me while i was in single player and turned it into co op. But no matter what i cannot play online, i was really looking forward to the Be The Zombie online mode. I can play the zombie tutorial but thats it, it displays games in the find match option but when i try to join backs me out to the zombie tutorial and says one of those statements i mentioned earlier Please help

    Major Ps4 Connection Issues

Please help if possible. I have Comcast business class internet, fast speed, wired connection to my ps4. I am experiencing the following problems: random disconnects that will say I've lost connection to the psn server (when I'm still connected) and with dying light. This happens in COOP as well as single player. I am not getting the error message that I see others reporting. If I am playing mp it will DC the connection and then I can immediately invite the person back. I have called Comcast repeatedly, they sent techs out yesterday and assure me that everything looks good on their end, I'm just not sure. Is anyone else having a similar issue? I have also started having some issues with dcing on EA servers during the past couple of weeks. Any ideas or information would be greatly appreciated. ^−^
  7. Hey guys, I started playing dying light multi-player yesterday with a group of friends and when ever my gf (same house both using wireless connections) joins people start randomly getting disconnected to a point were its just me alone . If my gf is not in the game the 3 of us can play fine for hours if we so please. When she joins chaos breaks loose! We haven't tried her joining them without me yet as we got fed up last night so we will try that to eliminate her being the issue later when people are on. We have tried each person in party hosting the game but it happens regardless who is host we found. I am left to believe it is either the fact we are using the same external ip address or there is an issue with our wireless but mine seems to work fine. Has anyone else encountered this issue or does anyone have any ideas? I have a switch here with me so I am gonna try bridging my connection with my gf rather than her using wireless but we cannot both use wired connection to router as the router is only accessible by wireless at the moment so bridging a wireless connection via wire is my only option for her to not use wireless. I will also add we had the exact same issue with both dead island and dead island riptide so if anyone managed to fix that issue I would greatly appreciate knowing how hopefully without not using wireless as its a requirement atm.
  8. I always have either the game is no longer avaliable, you need to be connected in peer to peer (something like that), can't connect you to other players I have been trying this for 3 days but have got into 0 games im wondering if this is a game bug or is it just me?
  9. So as of this posting, I'll have logged eight hours into the game. Overall I greatly enjoy the game. The co-op is fantastic and with the singleplayer I have barely any gripes, none of which are even remotely close to game-breaking. I'm gonna talk about what I liked and disliked in these 8 hours. This is purely my opinion, and I can be wrong. I absolutely love the movement and combat system in this game. At first I was confused as to why everything was so limited but unlocking things as you progress made me feel like a real person not some demi-god sent down from the heavens to go and ruin an entire city (I'd be too late for that anyway). Even as the hunter the movement makes me feel like spiderman and the mobility the hunter has is fantastic. Actually being able to engage and disengage with the humans feels very fluid and overall a balanced system. The brutality of the combat and the different movement skills had me spending 3 of the 8 hours I played just chupacabra around with my friends trying to get eachother killed. That alone will likely merit replay value for me since the game can't be anything other than dynamic gameplay wise. The only complaint I have about human gameplay is not being able to check your watch. It breaks immersion a bit, but that's really something I could live without. It just seems a bit odd to me that I have to enter a menu to check the time. So far in the story I only have had two connectivity issues in which were easily resolved by reconnecting, and we didn't lose any progress or anything we had gotten during the desync. We picked up right where we left off together, and with what we had gotten even when the game had desync'd us out of eachothers game. Hats off for that. But that was in the story. In the Be the Zombie mode, I have only managed to successfully play four games as the zombie. I attempted to join about fifty games, and only four of them went through. So that's 8%. ~8% of games so far have managed to go through. And they were not very fun. As I said, the zombie plays very similar to the human. Just faster and stronger (stat wise). He gets skills the same way the humans do and they all are very useful, sure, but the balancing of them is so ridiculously unfair to the hunter that you can barely even use your skills because you can't get close enough to the humans to use them properly. The spits are great, if they didnt have such an obscenely long cooldown. Also landing them without the charging spit skill is absurd. They take time to explode and are audible on landing and very visible. If a human gets hit by them it's either because they're trapped or just not paying attention, which makes taking the time to line them up when they're smashing one of your nests almost not worth it. The human sense ability is absolutely ridiculous. You cannot sneak up on the humans if there is more than one of them. You simply can't. They can sense you from wherever you are regardless of whether or not you're crouching or moving. They can know exactly where you are at all times, which by itself makes winning as the hunter almost impossible. One of the four games I played was with two random humans and we tested all of the skills we had at the time (I was level four, so we tested the spits, the tackle, and the senses). The UV blocker is a must-have, because since the humans know where you are all they have to do is have one of them sensing all the time and the other can just UV you whenever they want. The tackle is a great idea, if you could see where the spikes and other environment hazards are. Why aren't they highlighted? I have to crank my gamma all the way up to even be able to distinguish them from other doodads. In my opinion, the story is just fine the way it is. I am loving it to pieces and will continue to play it endlessly. I might play another game or two as the zombie but afterwards I won't touch it until they make it actually fun for the hunter. Make the spits have maybe ten seconds less on the cooldown, and get either get rid of the human sense or make it so they can only use it to track me when I howl. If they can only sense me when I sense them, that's perfectly fair and makes sense. Maybe beef up the zombie a little bit, because if the human has a good weapon or high levels, they can destroy you in melee. Pouncing is the only way to kill humans save for them already being low. But even then if you don't have the UV blocker skill it's possible for them to interrupt you themselves should they be quick enough. All in all, I love the story and am incredibly disappointed in the zombie mode. Once they fix the balance issues I will happily spend endless hours playing as the zombie, but not again until then.
