jonnyallen3 got a reaction from NullExoZombies in Why Is A Night Hunters Agility Nerfed On Console?
Ever since I switched to PC, I noticed Night Hunters have much more agility. When you jump from a sprint and turn, on PC you keep momentum in the direction you turn. On console as soon as you turn you lose all momentum. Is there a reason for this?

I remember before the following released, on PS4 at least you had great turning momentum and it allowed you to be evasive and it was something that especially distincted skilled Night Hunters. I feel like we gave that up for tendril sprint on PS4. Yet on PC the turning agility is still there.

You guys should really consider giving that agility back to console Night Hunters. It's no wonder I felt so gimped after The Following released.

Also, while we're on the subject. As a Night Hunter, can sprint sensitivity be the same as regular sensitivity? I hate how turning slows down when you sprint. That agility is crucial for a Night Hinter to be successful. Please fix this. I would love to come back to console one day and not feel gimped.

Guys it's like me and Visceral have always been saying, adapt and overcome. It is very true that this game mode is extremely unbalanced, and greatly favors the human. But that's why I love playing as the Night Hunter. I love being outnumbered and outgunned. You wanna know something though? I still barely lost. As in I've lost 2 1v1's as the night hunter since this game has been out. I love when I beat up on a team of 2 or 3 or 4, then after the game usually talk shìt or cry spamming (which always makes me laugh, as if the Night Hunter as anything you can spam), and you can tell they aren't used to losing.

Even though I hardly play Dying Light anymore, I still hop on occasionally to play on PC and PS4. It's still a blast to play.

Great addition Pete. This game just got so much better. Please take away the handicap system and normal mode medkits insta-heal, and this game would be just 👌ðŸ¾

Lol that was probably me. I don't know how I got it. I'm extremely skilled maybe they give it when you level up to 60 or do enough. Idk

You wanna know something? I commend this Night Hunter. You were being a cheating scumbag. He definitely didn't even the odds, he straight up made the game unwinnable for you. Which is what cheaters like you deserve.

He didn't enter the game cheating. He was clearly playing fair. He noticed you cheating and POLITELY asked you to stop. You proceeded to continue cheating so he gave you what you deserve, punishment. Which is what cheaters like you deserve. Maybe if people who cheated like you got punished by being served an invincible Night Hunter, less people would cheat.

The devs are taking a while to fix this game, so until then I strongly believe that players should provide justice to cheaters.

I'm going to go on record and say that hacking or modding in an online game to give you an edge is wrong, but in this case he did it to punish you for being a cheating scumbag. Justice

My past use of glitches? When have I ever glitched to exploit the game? Never. I can't stand when people feel the need to make ignorant comments. I'm assuming there's a reason you don't invade me anymore. You know you'll get your chupacabra handed to you. And no, catching me when I'm afk and me turning my system off when I get back.. 9 months ago.. Is not beating me. So go somewhere else.
And I play Night Hunter more than human, so you telling me that I can see it "from the night hunters side" is just stupid. I'm the best Night Hunter in the game.

Dude there's a reason you're only 1st mutation. Stop giving people bad advice. I would like to see more skilled Night Hunters as I usually get easy wins when I'm playing even by myself.

Tip #1: Don't use uv block to run away, use it to ATTACK. If you use uv block, get close to your opponent, and stick him with a uv suppressor spit, bam! Easy pounce. Also you can use it to continue ground pounding if you get drained.

Tip #2: Ground pounding is your most effective strategy against the human. Learn to get good with it. Landing so many in a row is fatal and effective. Just don't miss, because that a punish for you.

I have so many more. I'm currently working on a video on how to be a better Night Hunter. My channel on YouTube is jonnyallen3. So stay tuned.

Bro please don't listen to DoctorPurrington. DO NOT EVER rush your opponent to try to "quickly end the game". The key to winning as the Night Hunter is to be patient and time your attacks.

There is no way you can level up quickly per se, unless you boost, which I don't recommend. Going through the mutations is indeed a grind. It will take a bit of time.

I'm a 3rd mutation level 60, I reached the Apex Predator rank way back before mutations even came out. I'm also working on my second zombie. So take it from me. Grind the mutations, and in the process learn to appreciate and also learn every skill available to you, because trust me, you need every skill you get.

Just keep playing, get better, and you'll see yourself ranking up faster as you get better and win more games. Trust as you get closer and closer to max rank, it is very satisfying once you have that badass 3rd mutation appearance

I hate to be impatient, but I feel like we've been patient enough. It's been 3 weeks since the release of The Following, along with a glitch which allows nests to be 1 shotted if successfully hit in the head with any firearm or bow on nightmare difficulty.

I still beat most humans who use this tactic because I'm experienced, but I'm tired of losing games because of this specific issue. Not to mention new and improving hunters getting unfairly beaten like this.

What I would like to know is, why are so many members of our beloved community utilize this exploit? I'm well aware of this exploit but I still never use it. Quit being a cheating scumbag and game with honor.

jonnyallen3 got a reaction from AlienFreak in Handicapping The Losing Side Isn't The Right Way To Balance
So I notice you guys decided to use the method of buffing one side if they're losing. This is an extremely lazy and unintuitive way to balance the game.

Firstly it makes games drag on way longer than it should. Say I'm the human and the Hunter is losing, he comes in constantly spamming spits at me, which makes it really not fun anymore.

How do you expect players to get better if you just hand out handicaps to them? If you just buff players when they're losing, they aren't going to get better. I got so good at being the Night Hunter because I practiced through trial and error, losing and getting better.

Handicaps are very counterintuitive in any game. The game is very balanced now if you remove all exploits and continue monitoring.
