I'd like to see a proper save/load system in single player. I found respawning when you die spoiled a lot of the tension and immersion. Take the first night mission for example. After you destroy the drugs you have to make your way to the nearest safe zone. The volatiles are chasing you and its supposed to be super scary and tense. But what happens if they get you? You respawn at possibly the very safe house you were trying to get to. Well thanks Mr Volatile. You just saved me all that time. What do you think?
I'm sorry if this has been flogged to death, I'm new to the forums. I've just got to the old town and I'm about to quit because of the virals. If this was intended (and I can't for the life of me think anyone could have thought this would be fun)... then good job.
