    Turn Off Survivor Sense!

You sure? I think there's no limit to it, no matter how many players... I don't want to cross over topics here, but there's something else I pointed out about matchmaking and mid-session quitting by survivors. In fact, this bugs me even more than the survivor sense thing, because it happens a lot. What are your thoughts on that one? http://forum.techland.pl/topic/10752-players-quitting-mid-session-and-matchmaking-problems/

Yeah, I understand it would be risky, but it would be great if they'd have the balls to upull it off and put in the effort. Having said that, your ideas could work great as well. I just doubt they'll alter the gameplay mechanics of survivors since those are the ones we got accustomed to in singleplayer. Lets just wait and see...
  3. I've been waiting for a BTZ session to start after about fifteen minutes of waiting and was exited when one finally started. I got in a game with one survivor and gave him a hard time destroying my nests. Since I got the best of him he started camping in a safe zone for some time only to LEAVE THE chupacabra GAME mid-session!! What I'm saying is: Don't let survivors be able to quit sessions when a night hunter has already joined! If they don't want me in their session that's fine! But in that case they should turn off Invasion before I join and not after I've been waiting for ten minutes or more! That, and the fact that matchmaking is still utter chupacabra makes BTZ a very frustrating game mode. Such a shame, since it's good fun when it works. Fix it, please!

The sense suppressor spit is just a lazy use of existing mechanics and almost useless, unless you're a chupacabra spit-sniper. It's even more useless against more than one enemy, since everyone else but the guy you hit still knows where you are. It doesn't solve the problem I addressed: the tension, especially for survisors. Hunting is based on stealth and there's no stealth component to this game mode. The only way to make it truly challenging is to get rid of survivor sense! No other way imo. I think the method I described above makes good sense. They could add that when you're howling as the hunter, survivors get your exact position on the minimap for a moment (like they do now with survivor sense), which would make you think twice before doing so. And don't tell me it's to much effort to get this done. If they can add new spits and tweak other mechanics, they can pull this off, too. This is about fan service! When you can only deliver a broken game you should make it a DLC and take some money for it in order to put more development time into it. I would happily pay ten bucks or so for a better, more thought through version of this mode.

    Turn Off Survivor Sense!

God dammit, how often do we have to tell you this?? Anyone who uses survivor sense knows exactly where I am, so THEY hunt ME! When I'm playing as a night HUNTER I shouldn't be the PREY, right?? So, it's not that complicated guys: Just get rid of survivor sense and let the humans automatically see the rough direction the hunter is in on their minimap when he uses tendril locomotion in a certain proximity (they would hear that, right?). That way the hunter could choose to not use his tendrils and silently sneak up on humans. That would create great tension for both sides! And that's it, BTZ fixed!! Now go and make it happen. And don't you release any other DLC before this is done. Yeez...

    Developer Feedback

^ He nailed it. If you do this you can probably keep everything else the way it is. Because the hunter has the ability to actually use stealth! That said, I don't think you should be detected by the sound of heavy breathing or footsteps since the hunter always creates these sounds...

Hunters Win More Games Than Humans What?

The UV lamp isn't the problem. Survivor sense is.
  9. I agree in everything. Devs, all you need to do is read these posts. These posts in a forum YOU set up to get honest feedback! So, just TAKE AWAY SURVIVOR SENSE 'cause this is the main issue for EVERYONE. Test it, make some minor changes on other parts if you must and be done with it! When I am playing a so called hunter and GET hunted, that's a poor statement about the way you tried and tested this mode yourself. Do you understand that a hunter has to use stealth to get his prey? To be stealthy your enemy mustn't know where you are All the time! Sorry for flaming here, but right now I'm just glad I had to pay nothing for this. If I had I'd be really pissed now.

Humans Are Still Op V Zombie Mode Post Patch

Only a few things need to be done to solve all problems: 1:REMOVE HUNTER'S POSITION ON MINI MAP!! Survivor sense is obviously the one thing that makes survivors humans so overly powerful! Not knowing where the hunter is would add so much more tension and the hunter would actually hunt. Instead of getting his exact position anytime, survivors could get the last known position of the hunter when he screams, so they know roughly in which direction they need to look. 2: GIVE HUNTER THE ABILITY TO SEE LIKE HUMANS! This only works if you stick to my first suggestion, of course. Useful for the hunter because they can tell when they're in the shadows or not. 3: COMPLETELY REMOVE THE OPTION TO TURN OFF INVASION! I'm getting kicked out of every second session at least, because players forgot to turn off invasion and do it simply when I come in. When the mode is truly fun again, I'm sure people will appreciate the challenge. If they still hate it, they can simply set to be invaded only every 10th night or something. 4: TURN OFF UV LIGHTS IN SAFE ZONES after a few seconds. No more camping. In my opinion these are the things that would improve the mode immeasurably.
