    So mods are still ok when you just play the SP and will have no issue at all with that right ? Cause personaly, i dont care about MP ^^

    Sooo.... with the enhanced / following "update" it say VAC is enabled. do that mean we cant mod the game anymore ? If i still mod the game and get "banned" ? do that mean i couldnt play the game anymore ? or will i just get banned from the DL online ? that's a BIG concern since actualy i DONT WANT TO PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT MODDED IT. anyone know the answer about that ?
  3. Hello. Even if i loved Dying light since the release, and have a lot of fun messing around with zombie, i must admit that the "open world" is pretty much very empty, barely one or 2 "procedural" event, and the rest of the game is only quest to trigger. So i would love to know, did you changed that for the following ? I mean bring more real random / procedural event, or kind of activity that can occur anywhere in the map ( and not just "fixed" scripted quest ) to have a " true living world" or its another time "just" going to be a big map that will serve as "hub" to choose quest order and nothing else to do once we finished all quest. ( since saddly you dont look to open the official maps for modding to add content like its possible to do with skyrim )

    Kick Force ?

    So, i made a little try with the <prop n="AirKickPhysicsDamage parameter, in fact i change the force of the normal kick this one BUT when you jump and kick AND ONLY when the zombie do not stand on his foot anymore Look like there is a paramter somewhere that prevent the zombie to fly away like with the wrestlingkick wrestlingkick is this one Anyone know what parameter to change to get the same effect as with the wrestling kick BUT with the normal kick ?

    Would be nice to have a particle editor. :] Its imho a quite necessary thing ^^ And having access to all weapons parameter too.. i mean beeing able to change the setting we want beeing able to add gravity to bullets, beeing able to change the visibility of the tracer ( since it only look to not be visible all the time ) changing accuracy / screen "shaking".. etc etc. Seriously open all thoses setting please ( and for the game modding too ! not just for the custom maps ) thanks for you answer tho

    Oh, that's really too bad :/ are you going to open more or somes parameter ? i would really like to be able to tweak particles effect / bullet tracer / bullet gravity.. etc etc. Are we going to be able later to create real weapon scope ? / sniper.. with more open weapons parameter ? thanks

    Oh good thanks for the confirmation i will need to do somes test, but didnt really had time, and since GTA 5 is now out.. all my gaming time is spend on that game for the moment ( but i dont forget Dying Light just waiting a bit they improve their modding tool )

    Did you correctly tried that in the tool section ? ( just in case ).. because actualy it worked correctly for me ^^ But well, that mod tool dont have terrain editor.. so... yeah... i'am going to wait they add one, and if they dont.. without me.

    WAIT ! there is no terrain editor ? wtf is that "mod tool" without possibility to create terrain, so create a "real custom map". actualy, that's very disapointing.

    I had the same thing while looking into the tool library, but just type "dying" and the dev tool magicaly going to appear But god, i will need to find somes time to try that.. not easy since now GTA 5 is there eww Still ! Thanks a LOT techland for the devs tools ! hope you are going to keep improove them

    good call, just checked, he barely increase the "KickBaseForceMul", but he increased the "AirKickPhysicsDamage" value, and since there is a "WrestlingKick" parameter the "air kick" might be the classic kick.. not sure, but i'am going to give a try. Because if its not that, i have absolutely no idea ^^

    hello, i wasnt there for the 1 april to get that "joke" and get the super force movement, so i wasnt able to look into the files to check what they change to get that result. So i'am curious, someone know how what value they changed to get extra force on the kick and stuff ? In the default_levels i tried to change the " <prop n="KickBaseForceMul" " value, but no result... even with a 10000 value.. so, how to apply extra force to that ? someone know ? thanks

    Developer Tools Beta

    If they disabled deliberately the terrain tool .. that's suck... That's a VERY basic aspect of a sdk, a terrain tool.. >< I mean, sure, they wont give most of the engine / game source code because, well, its "only" a modding tool. But i REALLY hope at least, we are going to have all the editor tool working : terrain / particle / animation ( & import ) / items / asset ( & import ) / quest maker / AI.. access to cvar.. and the other things we could find in it... because if its to get a chrome editor baddly cut down like the very poor Farcry 3-4 editor... its going to be really bad.... Personaly, i really hope for something as good as a Skyrim sdk / Crysis1 sdk, which will allow a great freedom :]
