Airsickhydra got a reaction from Avenged Sevenfold in Devs Put Seperate Forums For Pc And Console Im Tired Of Console People
The difference between pc and console? - None. Feedback on the game applies to all platforms.

It's the same core game. If you have technical issues on pc with performance, there is a forum for that. If you are using mods to customise the game, there is a forum for that too.

Airsickhydra got a reaction from darkwolfcub in Hud Options Need To Be Present For Users.
Just some hypothetical questions for you guys. If we remove the hud...

How will we know how much HP we have? - Allowing us to plan for fights etc and estimating if fall damage will kill us.  How will we locate waypoints? The game is based on traveling quite long distances.  How will players know to press X for example next to a child zombie?  Would we need to press start every time we want to know how many of an item we have? How do you know if you have a repair left on your current weapon or not?
I also want more freedom to customise and make things immersive, but removing the entire hud in a first person game? - I can't think of one game i've played on console which has done that. It's being discussed here as if it's a game-breaking issue that the devs "obviously" should have foreseen, forgive me if i'm wrong but having a hud is standard in 99.9% of games.

Wouldn't it be better to request a more minimalistic hud? - One that doesn't invade the screen as much. Perhaps some more visual tweaks to compensate and free up space?

I'd like to see the change too but just flat out removing the hud seems pretty drastic in a game where there is a lot of information to keep track of.

I'm sorry but the very definition of a season pass is either access to all (or a specific set) of the game's downloadable content, usually sold for a discount. Just to name a few games which have given specific sets of DLC.

    Destiny - 2x DLC packs
Evolve - 4 hunters and 3 monster skins
CoD - first 4 map packs / releases only.
Drive Club - 6x vehicles and 6 tour events
DBZ - First 3x packs released.

I think the experiences you must have had where a season pass gave you "all the content" must be in cases where the developers already know what they are only going to release so they can jump ship after and start on another project.

Wouldn't expect any mainstream and popular game with a strong flow of DLC to include everything for a one off price of $20? What would be their incentive to keep making content otherwise. Of the few games which advertised their DLC packs as all inclusive, they nearly all cost $45 and will span over a 2 year period.

Not trying to pick a fight here but I don't see how you expect DL content to all be free when the season pass already advertised as being three DLC pieces. To answer your question, no they won't be releasing everything for free in future. Pretty damn certain of that.

Airsickhydra got a reaction from Crinkels in Guns Don't Need Rarity (And Sucks At This Point)
It is true that said ammunition exists... The game isn't set in Murica however. It's set in Harran / Turkey and if you hadn't noticed, they are quite poor. Millitary / police who own the guns that you use aren't really going to be using various ammo types. Can you imagine NATO with insiniary rounds?

Accept that guns is guns, bullets is bullets. It isn't America and there isn't a reason for these ammo types to be there, unless you manage to meet someone who can perhaps make them? Or teach you how to make them.

Re Gun damage, i've got 3x different Police rifles with 3x different damage levels.

In their defence they just added 50 new weapons. Give it time, it's not like they won't release more! - Keep asking and i'll bet each month another handful of weapons get released into the end game content.

I'd love some more end game weapon blueprints.

I think it would be great if the zombies, of all kinds, could hear us chat in co-op. This way we would have to be careful to speak quietly and whisper when the zombies are near.

Sounds like what you are asking for though is an improved HUD which is completely feasible and possible. No hud options are fine, but making content for 10% of users is never going to be a top priority whereas probably 60% of us would appreciate a cleaner or more intuitive hud. Just seems a more logical step to clean it up first rather than just go full out no hud

@DexterMullen I don't have any problem in dying or with my dead stats, I only want to enjoy the game. If I die in hard mode... I don't restart the game and go to cry to a corner, I simply have fun.

Hard mode MUST be hard, so if you are a hardcore player like you said... I don't understand the purpose of this post, because for me you are talking about make easy the hard mode and that is purpose of the normal mode.

In the Borderlands forum you will see the term "Random Is Random". That means that it really is just pot luck if you get something. With a .1% spawn rate you could go your whole life and never see one. Then the next guy could get 2 in row in just a couple of farming runs. Random is random.

Sorry to say but you are going to be in the minority there. Wanting the devs to change hard mode so you can do it with 0 deaths is wishing for a bit much. For the rest of us the extra damage makes is be careful when and where we fight, the medkits mean we have to run more often and yeah, occasionally we die if we pushed our luck. That is how games are intended to play.

A while back I suggested something similar as a "skull system" like in the Halo series. Players could then choose to disable certain weapon types, certain blueprints or tweak settings.... The problem then is going from game to game in co-op.

Given the Co-Op vibe I think it more likely we will just need a tier approach towards difficulty, so we are all on the same page when playing together.

I have a few questions and suggestions

    1. will the dune buggies be in a free or paid dlc?

    2. will the bow and arrows be in a free or paid dlc?

    3. Do you unlock the trick or treater skin by beating the story on hard mode?

suggestion: You guys need to add a online hunger games type game mode!

What  you have mentioned in the "bad stuff" part of hard mode... are the things that make it hard. The medkits and enemy damage are just about spot on now.

Also your comment on not being able to complete the game on hard mode without dieing... I think that's the point?

Each regional store has it's own structure and release schedules. It's like the reason why games and DLC get released on different days of the week for different regions. It's also a situation not helped by a lack of communication.

You forgot to mention that you have laptop not desktop and mobile components are not officially supported. This means they can work but we can't guarantee that everything will be fine all the time.

Topic is locked because of the inappropriate language. All I can suggest you right now is changing your texture details from High to something lower.

The patch is still being processed for the console players. Quickly before I leave can you enlighten me as to why not getting an achievement makes a game ridiculous? The fact that 99.99% of players are currently running around the streets of Harran having a blast clearly doesn't count for anything? In what world does an achievement mean more than the game play itself? The devs have done an amazing job in creating this game.

The only thing that sucks is your patience and attitude towards games.

They made some new skins for variety, which is awesome. But do we really need 190+ flags (there are that many countries) It was a nice gesture but boy what a can of worms this is going to be. Another 5-6 major countries sure. But we don't want to have to sit there for 3 minutes scrolling because every country gets a skin.

Evening all, just wanted to share something with you.

As of next month there is a production being put on within London / England. It's a piece of first person immersive theater set in a zombie outbreak. You buy a ticket, go along and play the part of a civillian (one of 20-40 ish) who the cast are trying to keep alive. Anyone here (probably everyone!) who has an interest in zombies would surely love being part of what is essentially some real life cinema.
