Zombie-Hunter got a reaction from Jim di Griz in Trophies, levels Still Glitched, this Game Is Ridiculous!
That does not mean others haven't experienced glitches and what not from games.
Destiny(as Airsickhydra has also mentioned) is one game that comes to mind that's glitched to the s hithouse, and still has not been properly sorted and fixed.
And you think that game devs want to leave glitches and bugs in their games?
    For what reason?
Games, are not as simple as you may think.
There's a lot of coding involved.
If you think you can make a glitch and bug free game,I'd like to see it.
Otherwise,be considerate and understanding of the complexities in making a game.

Yeah, just want to echo what Kodiak412 said,it's a great game!
Don't wanna say anymore so as to not spoil it for ya hehe.
    Enjoy the game guys.

Before you go off on the devs, just think before you type.
Game companies like(Techland) make games for a living.
Wouldn't you think that they'd tried many different button configurations before settling on one that works?
I and many other gamers don't seem to have a problem with the button configuration.
As a matter of fact,it works really well what with the running, jumping and parkour abilities the character(Kyle Crane) has.
I've said it in another post, and as others have stated that the button configuration in Dying Light works AND makes sense.
    It would be counter-intuitive otherwise.
I guess you'll just have to adapt or...move along I guess.

Devs do not make games for gamers.
They make games to their specification first and foremost.
It's impossible to make a game that fits everyones' wants and expectations, period.
You either like it or you don't.

Zombie-Hunter got a reaction from Prodigerl in This Game Is Too Hard!
Like others have said, don't try and take on too many enemies if your rank is low.
Try to avoid groups(if your abilities or weapons aren't up to scratch or not strong enough) whenever possible.
Learning how to control your character first(running, jumping, parkour etc) is more important than starting any mission.

A good tradesman never blames his tools, and so a gamer should never blame his controller.

I really think you should keep honing your character(Kyle Cranes') skills before taking on anymore missions as I it'll make your gameplay much more enjoyable.
For me,the game is not hard at all, perhaps even a little on the easy side.

Haven't had any frame rate issues on PS4.
Game played silky smooth from start to finish.
Perhaps check the cable or the monitor if they're faulty?

Just run up to the baby, silence(kill) it and just keep running.
What I found that helped was using a stamina booster.
Make sure you activate the stamina booster before the screamer(baby).

    I give it a 10/10.
Had no probs whatsoever from start to finish.
Best zombie game I've played in a long while.

Not buying/playing a game due to the main protagonist not being a particular gender of your preference is downright silly.
The game plays great,so your loss.

I reckon you're playing the wrong game then mate, if you don't like gore.
The main feature of any zombie game is gore.

Dude, you're comparing Dying Light to a FPS game?
Dying Light is not a FPS game.
It is a free running/roaming game with a plethora of melee weapons and a "few" guns.
There are more melee weapons than there are guns in this game.
So far I've only seen you and another person complain about the jump button.
That means the rest of us have no problems with the controller setup.
You have to adapt to the games' mechanics as that's how it's meant to be played.
Perhaps you'd best stick with shooters?

PS.If L2/R2 is so counter-intuitive,you'd think there'd be hundreds more people complaining about it don't you think?

Zombie-Hunter got a reaction from Jim di Griz in Who Designed The Button Layout, They Should Be Fired!
Firstly,OP's title is a bit harsh.
Clearly,OP is typing away without thinking first.
As Michal has stated, they've done a lot of testing to see what works and what doesn't.
At first it seemed a bit awkward, but after a bit of free running, jumping and climbing, the controls felt natural and fluid.
If you pressed A/X to jump, your thumb leaves the right analog stick right?
Now,imagine trying to jump from building to duilding while moving in different directions with the A/X setup.
As soon as your thumb leaves the right analog stick, you've lost that milisecond of direction and that will stagger your chain jumps and the movement will not be fluid.
We have to understand, this game plays very different to most as it involves parkour.
Even in real life, parkour needs fluid movements moving from obstacle to obstacle.
As I've said, the devs have tried and tested different controller setups, and what works is what we're using right now.
    For example;
A car manufacturer builds a car with a round wheel, but you're not happy with it and think a square shaped wheel works better for you.
    Get what I'm saying here?
I mean,if you can't adapt to this games' setup(which works really well I might add) after many hours of swearing later, then I think you should move on to another game.
Life is about being able to adapt to different situations/circumstances etc.

Well,I've been playing for a good 2-3 hrs since I've got the game to download.
And I must admit, you guys(everyone at Techland) did a bloody good job on the game.
Special mention goes to the animation team as the parkour, running and climbing is very fluid and seamless.
The climbing is very realistic as the character doesn't just pull himself up in one movement like some games do,but is done in 2-3 movements just like in real life.
You can even hear the character(Kyle Crane) strain as he heaves and pulls himself up onto a ledge or platform. That was a nice touch.
I've only finished my first mission so there's a lot more to explore and experience.
And the story seems pretty good so far.
Why'd it take me so long to do one mission you might ask?
I was having too much fun running around, climbing structures/buildings,jumping from one rooftop to another.
i was having a blast, and totally forgot about the objectives lol.
I have to be honest, after the issues I(and many others) had with the game not able to be downloaded from PS Store felt deflated like a flat tyre.
Quite a few of us were disappointed(some even thought about taking legal action WTF? seriously?) when we couldn't play on launch.
Those feelings were blown out the window once I started playing Dying Light.
I thought to myself, this is a bloody awesome game!
Hats off to the Techland team for making an awesome game.

PS.I might need fresh underwear just the thought of being chased by the volatiles at night.

    No,I continued playing lol.
Man,pretty sure I peed(maybe just a little  ) my pants a few times running into zombies in the darkness(I did not use the torch just to see what it was like).
Take my advice guys and gals...use the bloody torch! lol

Yep,my thoughts exactly mate. IMO,Dying Light is one of the most fun free running games I've played in a long time.
Initially, the parkour mechanics(jumping over, grabbing ledges) took a bit of time to master.
Within about 10 mins,I fully grasped the concept and had a lot of fun doing. Lol
So much so that that I totally forgot about my objectives and just ran, jumped, climbed.
All that parkour stuff we've seen in videos before launch.
I was having a f*#king blast!(pretty much what what I said in another post titled "Dying Light First Impressions-PS4).
I think the problem with OP is that he might not be holding R1(in my case Ps4) as he reached the ledge, hence missing the grab and falling?. That's just one possibility.
The warehouse to light pole(train yard?) jump(I did it on my first go) and did a fist pump. Lol
Jump and grabs like that are so satisfying.
I mean,I felt like I got an achievement medal for doing that(even though I didn't in game) .
My advice, just keep at it(OP) dude and you will get it.
As the saying goes "practice makes perfect".
    Have fun!

Guys,a lot of us are angry and frustrated at the moment.
But we have to understand that Techland "developed" the game and are not involved in the publishing nor distribution of said game.
It's Warner Bros. that does the publishing, distribution etc.
I firmly believe(prove me wrong otherwise) Warner Bros. is at fault here for the f uck up(on both PS4 and Xbox One outside of USA).

I remember when I first watched gameplay of a Techland dev dropkicking a zombie off a rooftop.
It was the most hilarious shite i've ever seen.
I laughed so hard that I think I might've peed meself just a little.
