FarmerJimbob got a reaction from Gabrielmpf in Forager Functions on harvesters
How would that work? The harvester would need a huge second tank to store the straw. A harvester can either eject (dump) a straw swath to be foraged or baled later or cut the straw into small pieces  and spread them out behind it to be plowed back into the ground. In the game cutting the straw effectively eliminates it as the pieces are so small you can't see them after so its as though it stops the straw altogether. The harvesters in Pure Farming do both these realistic functions.

FarmerJimbob got a reaction from Gabrielmpf in Where do I sell Straw bails?
Hmm, I think its debatable. To get a grass bale you have to mow and then bale, silage is just 1 extra step on that for doubling the profits. In the time it takes for the bale to ferment however you could have created at least 1 further set of grass bales. So profitability/time grass is probably better but profitability/work silage probably edges it. I think its pretty well balanced - if the silage price was much higher then it would just be an exploit to make money.
Personally though I agree with you, I'll typically take the instant cash for the grass bales.

I appreciate one and all opinions. Because they are just that. Some people enjoy on thing or the other. However, to personally attack other members of the forum and degrade them is not ok with me. You do not have a clue as to who anyone is here in this forum. You talk about disagreeing with your opinion, but I do not believe any member of this forum has degraded or personally attacked you because of your opinion. Just not cool. Maybe if you would bring you point across a little more succinctly people would listen, instead of raving on how horrible this game and the developers are. Give people and the developers a chance. There are some who enjoy the game.  We can agree to disagree. My first multiplayer game was pong on a Sears black and white TV. Good luck to you.

The game works, a number of us are enjoying playing it. How does that make us morons or that we’re getting screwed?
I’d suggest a moron is the person who spent $40 on the game, threw their toys out of the pram like a child when it had a few teething problems, and announced they’d set light to the game thus depriving themselves from ever getting their money’s worth out of their purchase. And then spent their time trolling the forum of a game they don’t even play.

Was wondering this yesterday as I baled straw in every field I currently own (new save so not big fields) after I found out from someone here they sell for $100 each. I had over 100 bales in total so the limit (if any) is fairly high.
In case anyone hasn't discovered, there are ready made bales (straw & grass) at each of the 3 cow barns on Montana map so free money out there if you are strapped or just need to start making some fodder. Initially I thought the ones at the main farm were just decoration like on other farming games.

Deploy the drone - it’s great for finding sapphires. Even better at night.

First time out I found them through exploring aside from a couple I couldn’t find, I used this for the others and have used it since when I start a new game.
    https://guides.gamepressure.com/pure_farming_2018/guide.asp?ID=43778
There are 2 not obvious using this map - 7 is not where it’s labelled to be, it’s closer to 4 I think, down by the road whereas 4 is up on the hill under the windmill. 68 is near 69, there’s 1 inside the fence I think and 1 by the rock wall. The guide is pretty good though it could be ordered a bit more logically.
The drone is really useful when searching for sapphires, especially if you know there’s 1 in the area you are but can’t find it for the life of you on foot.

Most of the problems people experienced were between the patches on Friday and/or using the new vehicles on old save files. I only picked the game back up on Saturday after patch 1.1.3 starting a new game so like you I’ve not had any issues other than minor gameplay bugs. The complaining was part justified, part throwing toys out of pram nonsense by certain individuals.

I’ve been playing a completely new save today after the patches (always intended to start over when real time dropped in) and it’s been a great experience. Hadn’t been brave enough to chance the new vehicles with it tho on account of the warnings.
Cheers for the testing Gabriel, I really need a new truck as I had to sell the old one after I beached it on a rock and “exit blocked” became a constant even after I freed it.

Okay, did some further testing, and @Weaponz248 was right.
If you start a new game and buy any of the new vehicles included in the patch 1.1.2, the game stays stable and everything works as it should, which means that the new updates are, indeed, incompatible with the previous saves.
So, there you have it. Another piece of the puzzle complete

Would not be the first game out there that has this issue with each update. They will get it sorted in time. At least they are trying and not just going away and not bothering any more. Kudos to the devs for sticking with it, a shame some people can't be bothered to do the same.
    Hang in there folks.

It would appear to me that your trying to kickstart that fire,i do get the frustration,im frustrated with the bugs too.
But as i said techland do seem to have stepped it up a gear and are trying to remedy the problems on consoles, being rude/offensive or repeatedly kicking them when they are down helps nobody at this stage.

C'mon man! If you're done with the game and aren't willing to help, why are you still wasting your time in here? That's just bad form.
We like the game. We know that eventually all these problems are going to be fixed and just be a thing of the past.
All we have to do is just have a little more patience.

Just wanted to say really nice game and good job developers, I know a lot of people are having problems with different parts of the game, I have been playing since release date and have no problems to date even after the updates, wanted to let techland know this keep up the good work it can't be easy keeping going with all the negativity going around

If your implying what i think you are with those comments then you are wrong.
i have been very critical of techland and already voiced my opinion on the buggy console release and apparent lack of testing. But to ignore the fact that techland are indeed doing their best to fix these problems which is proven by the recent speedy hotfix would be wrong in my opinion. It would also be wrong to ignore the fact that they do seem to be doing their best here, its really not nice to repeatedly kick someone when they are down.

    Hello,
We are aware of the issue and we've been working hard to get it fixed immediately. We've already managed to publish a hot-fix which should address most of the problems you mentioned. Please update your game!

FarmerJimbob got a reaction from Gabrielmpf in Xbox Patch 1.1.2 - Not Stable After 1.1.3
Glad to read some positivity on here for a change. It’s a frustrating time for the PS4 players at the moment but the evidence is there that PF can be a great game and all that’s wrong with it at the moment can, and I’m sure will, be fixed. A little patience and calm is needed right now but the rewards for that will be forthcoming...

***UPDATE AFTER PATCH 1.1.3 for XBOX***

Well, I did write after patch 1.1.2 that the game was stable, and did warn you guys not try and go fix it.
Now, after having updated to 1.1.3, the game is basically unplayable. No crashes, but bugs aplenty:
Everything we buy from the store ends up near the dam in the Montana map. On other locations, it's the same. The machines end up in another part of the map.
After loading a save, every device we owned is gone, simply vanished from existence. It's like we never owned it. Only the tractors escaped this black hole.
Traveled to other locations, saved and reloaded. Everything I owned in those maps is gone as well, except for the vehicles.
I had several saves, but I'm not gonna risk any of the others, since the one I tried is completely messed up, as I may lose everything that I worked for. I'm not gonna touch the game until this is updated again.
You guys tried to fix something in the Xbox version that didn't need to be fixed. Now you made it worse.

    PLEASE FIX ASAP.

    Hi guys,
Just wanted to write an update on patch 1.1.2 for Xbox. Got it yesterday evening after all.
Spent over two hours testing what others were here saying it happened to PS4. No crashes, no bugs, so far. Quit and loaded several times. Bought equipment and transferred it to different places. Traveled between Montana and Japan. Everything seems to work as it should... For now.
Will keep testing today, to see if it's still stable.

But, you guys need to make this right with PS4 players. No amount of freebies ain't gonna cut it this time.
Just pay whatever is necessary to Sony and fix it in the next couple of days, or the next fixing you'll be doing is going to be to your reputation, which could reach a point of no return.

    Happy Farming,
    Gabriel
