I wouldn't mind seeing that feature for the seeders/sowers as well. I don't plant all fields with the same seed, so I always have a bunch left over from the previous field that just goes to waste. I don't believe it refunds you the money for unused seed when you change types, which would be another nice options as well.  Obviously, I'm spoiled with how FS17 does it and seed is just seed, you change the type you want to plant on the seeder, so it doesn't matter if you fill up on seed, you can select what you want at the time of planting. I don't want to have to buy 3 different seeders to get around that problem.

If this game had horses in it, and we were talking about their manure, I'd say it makes perfect sense  (Maybe it's a US only thing, but horse poo is often called "horse apples" - at least it was around our horse barn )

Agreed, the JCB, which sports that fastest speeds I know of to date, will run 42mph.  If I hook an empty trailer to it, it slows to 14mph and when I load the trailer, it gets even slower.  Relogging has not made a difference.  This is the JCB 4220 with the Akpril Masse C-1500 counterweight and the Wielton PRC-2B/W 10 Ton trailer.  With this configuration empty it still should achieve 42mph, it just make take it a bit longer to wind up, Even full it should achieve the same speed, but take longer to wind up and longer to stop.

True, obviously the current way is more "realistic". I did say I was spoiled by FS17 . Therefore, if we are talking realism vs QOL (I agree, simulators should lean more toward realism), then there still needs to be an "unload" feature for both the bailer and seeder to purge the remaining materials so you can swap out just as RL machinery does.

So far, all the tractors in game seem extremely underpowered.  I took my Zetor Forterra 150 HD to Columbia while playing the My First Farm scenario and by itself, unloaded, not pulling anything, it can barely go up the hill to the first shed where I'm supposed to pick up the cistern!  I would think a tractor rated as a heavy tractor with 147 HP would be able to climb a small hill when it's not pulling anything. I could understand it having trouble if it were pulling a heavy trailer, but by itself? The Landini Rex couldn't even make it at all. It stalled out half way up, I had to drive switchbacks to get it up there. I know it's a tiny tractor, but again, I wasn't pulling anything. I should at least be able to drive ANY unladen tractor up a small incline to get to the blasted shed!  I have the same issue in the Montana map too.  Even the slightest incline and your tractor barely makes it. I keep wanting an option to pop it into low gear to get up the dang hill!

Milk and meat. Maybe sheep next? Mutton and wool. With some orange juice. Lol.

I was just thinking the same thing. Being able to sell goat milk would be awesome. I grew up around dairy goats, so I'm looking forward to having goats in the game, especially if we can sell the milk too. But I wouldn't mind an orange orchard either, lol!

I solved this by not using the baler on the last bit of a field or a grass stretch, which I know won't fill enough for another bale. Simple

Yeah, they call those big, 3-sided (bottom and 2 sides), cement bunkers "silos" - it's basically the concrete funnel-looking thing next to your manure dump next to the cow barn

And yeah that Galucho Transcow trailer is really bad and way too small!
And on ps4 there is a bug when travelling with vehicles they move way too slow until you save and reload the game. if trying to pull something like Galucho Transcow or a dolly with semi-trailer just reload it should be pulled a bit better!

It's been my experience that when you play the "My First Farm" option, things need repair quite often.  But playing the "Free Farming" option, I can go for days without so much as a scratch.

Have you guys noticed how your tractors need to be repaired all the time. It's ridiculous how often they become damaged. We need to fire that mechanic .
Almost every in-game day I need to fix something in my tractor (currently using the JCB Special Edition), whether it's the engine or because it can't attach to something due to faulty suspension or rear lift.
And it isn't cheap to fix all these problems either.
Dear Techland, please revise how often our tractors need to be fixed. Pretty please

Some of the comments I see make me realize that some of you may be lacking the knowledge of exactly what happens in a project of this magnitude.  I don't have the time or space to explain it, but my experience is that gamers are the absolute hardest audience to please.  They all usually want instant satisfaction, have no patience, are excessively brutal when things aren't they way they perceive them to be and expect flawless perfection.  There are a LOT of issues still to be addressed, but then looking back through all the patch notes I see that almost 3 times that have been resolved.  This game is still in its infancy. I'm glad that I found it so early.  I can find issues, make suggestions and know I'm being heard.  I have put in many tickets thus far and every one has met with response in just hours instead of days.
If you're unhappy, then go...  but bashing developers and nit picking over one or two specific items is ridiculous IMHO.  Myself, I can't wait to see what else I can find or what comes next.

Lol, I completely agree! I've had many of them walk right in front of my tractor, so at least on my map there's about 3 less pedestrians now

This is another annoying thing I've noticed when I'm in Japan.
There are too many pedestrians, and they're so annoying and nosy. They don't respect private property and walk right through your fields and orchards.
We need to teach them some boundaries .

moosedawg got a reaction from Uaithne in Option for weights vs percentages in storage
Maybe I'm not seeing it in the tablet or in the options, because I'm clearly not seeing it on the silo/storage tooltip, but it would be nice to have a way to see the actual amount of crop you have in storage (weight in lbs or tons) versus the percentage, after all, market prices are based on tonnage, not storage percentage. I find the percentage pretty useless in all reality.  There's already a bar there telling me how much of the storage that crop is taking up. What I'd really like to see is how much I actually have in storage by weight so I can determine how many trailer loads I have or if I even have a full trailer load in there, which helps in determining if I want to sell that crop or hold on to it until I have a full trailer load.  Having both of those statistics would be the ideal, better yet would be a way to switch between the two.

Maybe they're asking for an England/UK map? I'd like to see an Ireland or New Zealand map in the future - I mean what better places for breeding sheep!  (I don't really think of Germany as being synonymous with sheep to be honest. Hops maybe, not sheep).  And why no sheep in Montana? We've all heard the jokes, right?!

So the cost of the equipment and time needed to plant rice doesn't bring much profit. Especially with the 2300kg rice you can harvest and unload..
To do something while my cherries grow I have my three rice fields in Japan.
To speed things up, I did this:

Works well, but time consuming and workers can't do this, sadly...
Nevertheless I thought I share it with my fellow farmers! Happy farming!
