    Many people said that potion drinking needs an animation sequence but I have mixed feelings about it. I still think that "stunning" the player while drinking potions are not a great idea. OC you need to balance the potion spamming, but thats not a very good way. I hate when I stuck in games or it takes away the control from me. Cooldown could be a good answer here. Like the player can't drink the same potion again for like 10 seconds (depends on the game flow). The player is free to move, won't die in a stupid lockdown but he/she can't spam the potions, Also, the potions can be categorized. Like buff potions, healing potions, removal potions, etc. and add a cooldown to a category. So the player can drink something like strength bonus and a healing potion too. This is a better way because the player don't feel that he/she's limited that much. You can also add different subtype of potions like combat or non combat potions. Like a healing potion that ticks health over time but it can be interrupted by taking damage. OR Add a potion sack. Limit the number of potions the player can carry. This should differ from the inventory. (this is not that player friendly)

    Will There Be Hardcore?

    Well I think that the classic difficulty settings are good in most cases. (easy medium high nightmare), but there are more ambitious methods to set or customize settings. The new Thief game is not very good, but it has decent difficulty customization for example. The problem is that this system is somewhat hard to balance especially with drops and xp.     Well options are fine as long as you can turn these features off. I'm not a farming guy I play the game as long as I like it. That's why I don't like the progression system in many games. Most of the time these are there just for keep the player in front of the monitor. OC there are many exception and I hope this game will be one of them. I'm still not sure about this potion thing. It's not good when the player feels stucked or blocked. Adding cooldown to the potions is better i think and has almost the same effect. You have to choose what potion you drink and you have to calculate when you can drink again. Plus you have your freedom.

    I think drink animation would be annoying. Especially if I have to stop for a moment. EXP meter is one of the things I hated in COD4 and other games. I don't care about these things. It kills the immersion and the mood. So plz no flashy numbers this time, it's not Bulletstorm or Necrovision. What I want to see how the game runs under the new engine. And more demons. I remember I read an early post about flying flaming skull things. Air type enemies are always good and they can change the gameplay.

    Well I want get something like the Earthfire Sword, http://mthec.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/dm-06-11.jpg a magic shield, and a backup wand of awesome. (shoots awesome!) Plus kick kneeling demons in the face with the Mighty Foot!! Or I'd like to go AXE style and Helix the chupacabros out of everybody!

    I hope they won't go full Watch dogs. Never go full Watch dogs... Also I think ingame stuff shouldn't be restricted to different editions. Take an example of Witcher 3. They have a rly rly nice Standard Edition with lodza good stuff. They have a Collectors edition with more PHYSICAL stuff. And (this is the importanat one) the Digital something edition which has all the physical goodies in digital form. So nothing adds to the game. Everyone gets the same experience. Nobody feels less important, and i think this is a great thing. I'm not a rich guy but i don't want to spend $150 for a complete experience. Thats why i don't buy games day1. Everybody does chupacabra dlc's all the time and i don't have money to buy them spereately so i wait for the GOTY or the all-stuff editions. (like borderlands or dishonored) That's why i like expansion packs more. I can get money and get a decent experience like everybody else and I don't feel like I'm missing out something or I'm a less important customer.

    I was wondering last night ... what about fistfighting? Can we use our fists or get weapons for our fists? For example different style of brass knuckles or gauntlets that gives you additional stats like speed, dmg, or magic stuff. Another example to use special rocks (i mean minerals). The minerals can break after x amound of punches. Or just simply add magical aura to your fists from tomes.     Steam Early Access

    Do Early Access customers get any advantages over regular ones? Like bonus content or lower price? I'm ok with the lower price, but i'm not a fan of extra stuff. I'm not rly keen on early access right now. Espacially after Towns and other abaddoned, not finished games. So please don't "punish" others and force them to buy early access version for content they cannot get in the final game. (Paying for early access content dlc after release is not a solution for this problem...)

    Well if you watch those speed paintings on youtube you can see there are total of 8-10 hours of work / picture. And thats the execution. An artist has to desgin the look of the character, or the "skin" if we are talking about different textures or model variants. Thats a rly hard and time consuming work. Then make some of them into concept arts from sketches. And then finalize the arts. After all this stuff, you have to make textures from them which is rly time consuming. And then implement them into the game. All the instances, and rules and other stuff and so on... And I'm taling about reskin existing models. So yeah you rly need few liter of coffee for this work. Even many AAA big budget games cannot afford that many variants of stuff.

    Sure. Example 1: There are 2 mage like characters for example. They cast different kinds of magic. Player1 casts some kind of lightning spell and Player2 cast some fire like spell on the enemy. Now we can call itt a "combo cast" and creates an effect on the enemy like melee weapons does 25% more damage on it for a brief amount of time (like 5 sec or so). It would be nice to use this in a boss fight. Example 2: Player1 casts fire Player2 cast some shadow/dark/blood or some kind of magic which triggers a different kind of effect. When the enemy dies It exploes damaging all the enemies around like in Bloodlines with the Thaumaturgy discipline. Video here: Example 3: Player1 cast an ice beam, Player2 casts a force ball or something on the target. The ball explodes as reached the ice beam and all the enemies got frozen within a rage. There are many more opportunities in this kind of system. Like comboing spells on a friendly target, or on hazardous environments. But if you decide to put this into the game only on enemies then i'm happy. It adds more variety to the gameplay and support characters could be more useful. How do you like this?

    Why Hellraid Looks Like My Dream Game.

    Well when i was young I didn't enjoy RPGs or any text, top down, RTS games. My english was rly poor at the time. My first game was Pong and most of the people say it' not decisive for future interests but it's not true. Pong is skill based arena duel game. So I wanted to seek out hard and skillful games. Not unfair chupacabra but decent ones. So I played lots of side scrollers and fighters later. Then my uncle game me a game called Rise of the Triad. It was my first FPS game. I was maybe 6 at the time at OMG It was stunning. I played it a lot. After that I think I've only played FPS ... basically. So later I played Doom (still one of my fav.) and HeXen. HeXen was the first game that I thought was uniqe cuz of the classes, potions, melee combat, spell casting and other RPG like stuff. But it was rly hard for me for the same reason. Many game tried the formula later but failed in my eyes. The only great one was Dark Messiah. It wasn't as dark and gothic as HeXen or Blood but it had a rly cool athmosphere. These are my standards. I tried others like Elder Scrolls but the comat was meh... OK Skyrim looks rly nice and all and I liked it's world until I had to fight against enemies. Anyways these games opened my mind and later I played Vampire: Bloodlines which has hub based level design and other uniqe ones. Also when my english got better I tried older games i missed like Fallout. My pont is Hellraid could be the 3rd big title for me after many many years. When I read that this is spiritual successor to HeXen I was instantly rolling in my chair. And with modern technology (Chome Engine 6) and good game (my polish friends ) design this might be the GOTY regardless it is not hyped in every gamers' eyes.

    In general. I remember when developers fixed something in a game and they give us something for the compensation of the bugs. Like a new map or an item for the game. I'm not talking about big content updates just regular patches (only if the game needs it). Tho I can live without them. However I certainly would love to see is an expansion pack maybe a year after release of Hellraid with content Like Zero Hour, Deathknights of the Dark Citadel or Frozen Throne. When was the last time somebody made this kind of thing? Maybe it was Blood Dragon... and it sold well.

    I wasn't saying to you. There were a guy who wrote some rly redundant stuff here and i quoted it, but now it's gone...weird. Well the necros or mage enemies could do that yes. The necro lord in Path of Exile summon infinite ghouls until he dies. That would be a hard battle here. I'm not a fan of DLCs. I like patches where devs add something plus to the game besides the fixes. (it's like a compensation) But I'm willing to pay for an Expansion Pack where there are new characters (female), maps, weapons, and new mechanics, new story like. With all the assets they've made it's not that time consuming like begining a game from scratch.

    Lehetséges...Lengyel barátaink nagyon értik a dolgukat. I still think you can't mix everything from all different games. Of you can combine elements sure and change them in your way. But there are certain limitations. I like Dead Island's concept and I think it is a great B movie of games but the combat system is not rly solid. There are cool stuff you mentioned but Hellraid looks like the REAL DEAL! BTW Your Painkiller idea is truly awesome! I imagine that a player kills an enemy stylishly or do a combo chain kill and it drops more gold coin. I love this idea! Free roam is a cool thing and i think in coop players should visit certain areas again and again. And I read maybe a year before that Hellraid has some random gen dungeon stuff. I dunno if it still holds up. I rly hope it does. I'm looking forward to other Techland's games as well but Hellraid is the most aniticipated game for me this year. (well the the previous 3 years )

    The game will only be available on Steam? What about GOG or other DRM free options? Any info about 4-pack on Steam?
