Bro its my vid. I uploaded that. Jumped on last night and it worked first load through. Vsed level 15s on countryside. Like I said before, ive noticed that internet connection speed seems to affect your chances. Check your net. Ethernet to your router. Get everyone else off the net. Might help. Also, the music that plays during the zombie loading screen, has 2 sections. It goes quiet about halfway through loading. Hit x then. Not as soon as possible. Seems to help.

Yeah sorry tippy couldnt jump online yesterday with work n study. Its a pretty simple process of just backing out to the menu and going back into zombie lobby and hoping it works. Although I should note, it does seem to depend on the speed on your connection. If you have a slow connection (or someone is using a LOT of your bandwidth I.e. Netflix), then it doesnt seem to work. Try freeing up your connection and trying it. Otherwise just try joining the community and joining random player's games. I just want to point out, again, that these methods arent something we should HAVE to resort to. If they just expanded the MMR a bit we would have more players to choose from. Theyve done it before with updates. I remember a time when in the MatchMaking column, 5 green boxes meant equivalent to your rank. 4 green boxes meant they were "decently" experienced with NH. And then 3 yellow boxes and 2 yellow boxes meant they were pretty inexperienced. And that is WITHOUT the exploit. It was happy days when they did this. ALWAYS found a game. Then, alas, it was removed. Back to never finding a game. All they need to do is have the 4 green boxes show upand that would be enough games to choose from.

Its seems both methods are faster than spamming refresh or sitting there in quick join. Its only going to get worse as the playerbase dwindles too... Your method at least has a chance of semi decent players. My method shows games of absolute noobs. Ive been in games where 3 players weren't over level 4. I was the first night hunter they had ever encountered. I went easy on them. Let them win. Cause lets face it, if they get obliterated, they wont want to play it again. Poor programming to allow such a simple exploit of MMR. It needs to be fixed. Pete, youve said you'll look into it. Have you?

It still works. They haven't addressed it. Ive posted it here because I wanted them to fix it. But, seems like they wont be able to. Just keep trying it, and it works. Better than waiting 30mins.

Ive said this before and ill say it again. VAC bans occur on a cycle. They pool all the known hackers, and then ban them all at once after a period of time (weekly, fortnightly, monthly - its different for some games). This way, the hackers DONT KNOW what hack was caught and is detectable. This ensures that people who think a hack is undetectable and can keep harassing the community are dealt with... eventually. This stalls and prevents those that develop the hacks and share them with the community wont know what to patch etc so it becomes undetectable. In the short term, it sucks, yes. But its worked for over a decade. Thats why so many games use VAC.

Great points stated here. The more policing, the more imaginative the "hackers" get with their 3rd party tools and software. I also agree with playing the game to have fun and not go all ham and cheese on your opponent. There's no trophy at the end, just some digital points digitally levelling your digital character.

They actually handle vac bans on a monthly or fortnightly basis. So they'll take in reports, confirm the hackers, and then roll out the bans on the cycle. That way, the modders/creators of these hacks dont know which has been detected or not. As people wont get banned until sometime after theyved been detected. Its a supposed deterent to prevent the mods/hacks from knowing its been detected, patchinf a fix for stealth etc and rollin it out again.

    Incredibly Long Matchmaking Times.

Precisely why I dont go all ham and cheese on the noobs. If you read the exploit forum, you'd know already that I predominantly allow the humans to win. I generally muck around, showcasing the NH abilities in order to "teach the noobs" how to get good. I dont just 2 second KO cause "yay I won". Im max level; I dont need wins. It results in often 30min games with the humans of super fun "dueling". This is where you dont pounce. Just tackle and GP. This is a lot of fun. Hot tip: find games in old town. The players there are generally level 20+. Also, with players ranks being reset when changing difficulties, you'll OFTEN run into highly experienced humans.

    So..... What Is It...?

He's talking about playing aggressively as apposed to this "chicken" style tactic mentioned above. Effectively using your spits/shields/UV heal you can be in the humans face the whole time. Lets not forget that a successful GP gives you a smidgen of energy back, enough to tendril away for a brief moment OR to return quickly and land another GP (as some whingers would call it, GP spam). This tactic against the heavy camping humans causes disarray and swings the momentum in your favour. Stop missing GP, and watch how much more effective of a weapon you become.

A Night Hunter's Way To Counter Dropkicks

I agree with the points raised here. However, remembering, some of us NH's are quite good at landing quick and consecutive GPs. And usually save a UV block for those "minor mistakes" that are inevitably made. If I was able to counter the dropkick, I assure you that I would decimate human teams. Im not tooting my own horn here, as I still get rekt 50% of the time by humans who can efficiently grapple, UV light then tackle + melee when chasing me down. But for those humans who aren't as quick to switch inventory as fast, I feel the NH has sufficient arsenal to effectively win every game. Adding a way to dodge one of the only ways a human can turn the tide of GP spam and it would be GG every time... As for DFA, its like the devs said, avoid missing a GP below a human or having your pounce interrupted when on a high ledge. Its an adequate counter measure for the humans because let's face it: NH can OHK humans with a well timed UV block + pounce.

https://youtu.be/PBH2-sddBhs Guys I feel your pain. Alas I have found a solution that I've been using since the game's release. Its a REALLY simple method. Watch the first half of the video. Its a tad old but dont worry, it still works. I have posted this in the bug forum as it is something I hope they fix. But for now, its something we can use in the meantime to get passed the long wait times. P.s. only positive this works on PS4. Unsure bout xbone and PC. Please let me know. Regards, Leather-Entity

https://youtu.be/PBH2-sddBhs Hi Pete, First time posting so I'm not sure if this has been covered. But I believe this to be a critical issue for BTZ. Are you aware that it is possible to bypass MMR as the NH to invade games of players FAR less experienced that you? As an Apex Predator, I am able to enter games of players with a Prey rank, sometimes these players are level 4 (obviously their first time being invaded - EVER). So you can imagine their distain when a level 58 Apex Predator x3 mutated invades their game... it is highly unfair to them and I believe would be leaving several players displeased with being invaded altogether. I have known about this for quite some time now but the main reason I kept this a secret is because I find it difficult to even find a single opponent for lengthy periods of time. So using the method described in my video, I am able to choose games and have a bit of fun. Mostly I just have a bit of fun with the humans. I try to showcase what the NH is capable of in hopes of teaching them a thing or 2. More often than not, I'll allow them the win as wins don't matter to me anymore. So the reason I'm now posting this is because I'm hoping you can fix the MMR so that I have more of a selection of players to choose from. It seems the "scope" of your MMR seems very specific, therefore leaving me with limited opponents to choose from. I know this is a fixable solution, as I have noticed that you sometimes expand the pool of opponents and add in 2/5 Matching opponents or 3/5 (rarely 4). So these 2/5 Matching games are essentially the Prey ranked opponents I find whilst employing my above stated method (in the video). You do this periodically, and for a short period of time. But you only either go ALL opponents of ALL ranks, or just my select few Ultimate Survivors (far and few between). Adding to that, now that player's ranks are being reset when switching difficulties, I have a near impossible strike rate finding opponents at all without bypassing MMR. So in conclusion, is there anything you can to create an opponent pool of 3/5 -> 5/5 Matching (contender/indomitable etc)? And just remove the 2/5 Prey ranks in that pool. That would mean more games for us to choose from, and removing the chance that a player NEVER turns on invasion because they just get rekt by highly experienced NH. Regards, Leather-Entity
