    The Shield

    On your last point I edited my post to account for the guns. I forgot about those scenarios when typing this up, thanks for reminding me. Power slices can be parried so you get stunned by armguard which gives bleeding effect and gives opportunity for shield guy to add pressure to you. Parrying to cancel power slice charge animation will let shield user kick you for a free stun and power slice since there is no put away delay. Switching to another weapon doesn't cancel it unless it is bow iirc. Could be wrong, i'll test it later. Trying to cancel charge by using equipment does not work either since now it just throws your weapon. My point is with shield, due to no put away delay it takes no brains to fight someone. Power slice cancel + kick is the only way to counter shield + parry. But since there is no delay, if you try to power slice they just put away shield and parry. And if you try to power slice bluff then kick, the shield user can just keep his shield out and block it. It takes no brains to use a shield effectively, just fast reactions in certain situations.

    Dying Light - Real Mode (Please read in detail) Would like you to evaluate this idea. The game is phenomenal, but after finish it 100%, is one wanting more. So I developed a new game formula, which in my view, would be extremely fun and tense too. . Objective: Survive as long as possible. If die, the game ends (Read below). . New start. No character import. . New character. No developed skills. No mod's projects. No weapons. . World without NPCs. No available safe houses. The two active maps from the start of the match. . World composed entirely of zombies Biters and Virals and members of the gang Kadir "Rais" Suleiman. . Conditions HEALTH, HUNGER, THIRST and FATIGUE . HEALTH: Recoverable with medical kits (Found only in locked ambulances) or through alcohol and gauze. - Die because of a zombie. You wake up at the nearest base of the attack site. Health, Hunger, Thirst and fatigue will be 50%. You have 24 hours to inject Antizina (Read below) or will be dead. - Dying for fall or shot. End of game. . HUNGER: Recoverable with food, of course. (Found in houses, shops etc.) - Die of hunger. End of game. . THIRST: Recoverable with water, of course. (Found in houses, shops etc.) - Die of thirst. End of game. .FATIGUE: Recoverable sleeping in any conquered base. - If your fatigue bar reaches 100%, you can no longer run. You will need to sleep to recover. No matter the time you wake up, if it is day or night, can not sleep again until your fatigue bar reaches 50%. - Wake up, Health, Hunger and Thirst will be 50%. . ANTIZINA: It will only be found if it is infected. When infected, will appear within 24 hours on your screen and a delivery point on the map. It will not be easy! Deliveries will fall on top of a tower or on top of a building. Race against time is bad, any accident could occur. If deliveries do not fall in high places, dangerous, for sure they will be surrounded by gang Kadir "Rais" Suleiman. . SAFE HOUSE: They will have to be won in the same way that in the current game. The difference is that they will have more zombies both inside and outside. And all the safe houses have to clear the zombies, close the entries and activate the electricity. . FIREARMS and AMMUNITION: Found only in locked police cars. . SKILLS: They would be the same as the current game, but with an addition. The ability to build arrows and silencers. That's right! In addition to all existing weapons, we would have four types: bow, crossbow, shotgun and sniper rifle. Arrows and silencers will be sorely needed (Read below). . COOP: It will only be possible if the four players are not infected. - Forming up a group, it will be easier to win all groceries, via exchanges or withdrawals. - If the player has to sleep, will exit the game online. (I need to think about it) - Dying for a zombie. Health, Hunger, Thirst and fatigue will be 50%. You and / or your companions will have 24 hours to inject into you, the Antizina. When infected, will appear within 24 hours on the screens and a delivery point on the map. It will not be easy! Deliveries will fall on top of a tower or on top of a building.     The Shield

    After further testing of this thing after the playtest ended. This thing is rediculously strong if a player knows what they're doing. The issue with the playtest was nobody knew what to do to counter shield. You pretty much need a couple of molotovs to counter a shield user. The only way to counter shield is to parry them by power slicing or tackling. Tackle is not part of the game though. (I added it into the game when testing offline with friends) So the issue is power slice is the only effective way to parry the shield. This is bad. The shield has no delay when putting it away and there is no way to cancel your power slice aside from kicking. Thus meaning if you try to power slice, the shield user just stops using it and parries your power slice, which adds even more salt to the wound if they have armguard. There is no mindgame to it, the shield user currently has an edge constantly since they can pull it out whenever with no delay. I have 3 possible solutions; •Add a delay to shield when putting it away. •Adjust keybind hold times for Parry so that you must hold it for 0.x amount of seconds to block an attack. •Add durability to the shield Obviously second option is not ideal, but it is an alternative if the first option cannot be accomplished. The third option is also less than ideal because players will then just run multiple slots with shield.

    I uninstalled the game from Steam (empty Bad Blood folder - nothing really to delete). I cleared my Steam cache, restarted Steam and installed the game again. Steam appeared to download a ~ 150MB file. When I tried to launch it again...nothing. Missing executable file. The only thing in the Bad Blood folder (on my D: drive) is an empty text file. Great stated to the Global Play Test.

    DL:BB No longer in library?

    They removed it entirely from the store due to certain players streaming it before it was even live. They will put it back on the days of the playtests. You will still have it. They only did it this way is so no one could play it before launch.

    Bug: Drop some Mine and shot it to kill nest fast. * And more players never up to max HP Level (275), because it's can auto heal (don't need use Medkit). They have only 100hp but damage of Hunter will auto scale (claw, tackle, ground pound...) * Some Human use this trick: use medkit before fight with Hunter, it's help they can auto-heal when take a hit (in animation of tackle, gp, claw...) Exam: In this video, Hunter hit human with 4-5 times, but human don't lost anymore (HP auto recovery) Please fix: If human in animations of hit (down, fall, knockback...), auto heal will stop, like Campain Mode (hit of Goon, Demolisher...)

Hello to all , i've created this post for recapitulate what we know about Bad Blood inform you of the news about this gamemode and of course tell you the information . Bad Blood as been annouced since 8 months ( the 7 december of 2017 ) . Here the website where you can see the Bad Blood information : https://dyinglightgame.com/badblood/ Initially ( at his announcement ) Techland doesn't have show us gameplay of the gamemode . But had the GDC Techland give to the players an Pre-Alpha build of the gamemode . Some players recorded her experiences in Bad Blood, here a good video of Bad Blood gameplay : Bad Blood Gameplay The gamemode seems to be a 6 players gamemode ( all the players are level legend 1 ) and have all the skills of all the skills boards . The players have to recolt samples of blood to reserve a seat a the helicopter who will pick you up . There are differents melee weapons and differents throwables weapons ( grenades,molotov, mines.... (yes chupacabra MINES ! CLAYMORE PARTY xD ) ) . Of course medkit, the players can kill each other to steal the other players objects . Only one player can seat on the helicopter, for that, the player has to have enough blood samples and have killed the other players . There are differents way to recolt blood samples, you can kill zombies or kill players . The helicopter arrive after about 6 minutes after the start of the game . Airdrops landing aleatory during the game they contain good stuff . When the chopper arrives a stressing music is starting. Its all the information we have since the GDC but after E3 ( or during I do not know too much ) new news as been communicated to us : Firstly now Bad Blood will have 12 players instead of 6 initially Secondly they dont have cancelled Bad Blood ( because certain persons were thinking than they will cancel it because dying light 2 will out ) Thirdly they announced (on twitter) than they work hard on Bad Blood and than they will post information about it very soon The tweet : Hi guys !     Fuel Depots

    Hello: I have a suggestion on making it easier to get fuel. I think it would be nice if we had a refueling pump at our farm, I find it very annoying to have to drop what I am doing to drive half way across the map just to refuel, Only to then burn a gallon or two to get back to my field that I am working on. I am not saying we shouldn't have to pay the same price for fuel from the pump at our farm but it would just make it much better and less time consuming if we didn't have to drive across the blasted map to get it. Also it would be nice if we had a portable fuel trailer that we could take out to the field to our tractors/equipment if we run low instead of having to hold our breath hoping to make it to the fuel station before it runs out and we have to pay the high price to have it delivered to us through our tablet.

    Hi, One of the things I love most about the game is the variety of different crops and how they are tied to different locations. Some of the crops I'd like to see in the game in the future: Tea - As with coffee, possibly tied to a new region, maybe India. Cotton - Possibly in China. Banana / Pineapple - Here, it could be added to the Colombian map, since it's a tropical region. Peaches / Apricots - Maybe linked to Italy. Pumpkins / Carrots - For more greenhouse variety in the USA map. Strawberry / Or any other Berry fruits - Also, maybe tied to the greenhouses in the USA map Nut Tree Orchards - Walnut, Chestnut, Pine, Hazel, Almond... These would be awesome to have. Maybe in another Mediterranean map: Spain, Greece or Turkey... or Portugal, we do have them in here as well Since several maps are already made and finding new areas for more orchards would be difficult, you could have a similar option to change orchard trees as the one you have for the greenhouses. That way, you wouldn't have to compromise on the map layout. Hope you guys give these some thought and consideration. To me, personally, I prefer this type of add-ons than just more machines.     I agree with these but I think auto save is a must! I’d like to see some more options with potato harvesting in the form of a self propelled harvester as the capacity of the current trailer is so small it’s annoying.

    I play this game for about 3 weeks now, really appreciate it, and I have some suggestions about. Why can't we feed rabbits and chickens ? Maybe a little food/water consumption will add some realism. Same for cow and pigs, they don't need to drink actually. For example, a little 1000 L consumption per week will be reasonable. From the previous suggestion, add corn culture to feed our animals. Add a paintjob option. Just to change the main color of our tractors/cars. Maybe it's impossible due to licences. But it'll be great to have all of our tractors in the same color. Add an autosave option. Add a female character. Yes, I'm a man, but like to play females in video games I can't find grass culture, to feed cows with, and a barn to store it. Option will be great for people who wants to specialize in breeding. Add forestry, maybe in a DLC with all stuff. Montana map have a perfect place to do it, upper left corner. Add more dynamic prices. For example, if we always sell meat to butcher, price will decrease, and increase at the hamburger restaurant. Thanks for reading, guys !

    I wouldn't mind seeing that feature for the seeders/sowers as well. I don't plant all fields with the same seed, so I always have a bunch left over from the previous field that just goes to waste. I don't believe it refunds you the money for unused seed when you change types, which would be another nice options as well. Obviously, I'm spoiled with how FS17 does it and seed is just seed, you change the type you want to plant on the seeder, so it doesn't matter if you fill up on seed, you can select what you want at the time of planting. I don't want to have to buy 3 different seeders to get around that problem.

    Couldn’t agree with you more on the corn. What they really need to do is allow for placeables where you can add building and stuff so the game isn’t so vanilla. Maybe that way you could replace a field with orchard or an orchard with green house who knows. Also you could build your own farm with different structures. That way when you play your not playing the same boring map over and over. Depending on what you farm or how there is always a better way to design your farm around your needs. just my two cents

    As we all know Dying Light is more of an urban themed game, I myself enjoyed the setting of Dead Island a bit more. I was wondering if it was possible to port the games assets into the developer tools, luckily I was on vacation so that spared me some time try and figure it out. Here's what I learned: Dead Island/Dying Light uses .rpack packing for its files/data. These cannot be easily unpacked, after managing to unpack them using a modified offzip code they cannot be opened due to the file extensions being .dat which could be anything... I tried converting those to .fbx and .obj files to see if they were regular assets - NOPE. So I figured maybe I can merge the dev_assets.rpack with the ones from Dead Island and then transfer the .pak folders over to the Dev tools and voila?! - NOPE. I managed to rip some if the 3d Assets from Dead Island, most of them come out corrupt and or need minor work to have them work properly. Here are some examples of what I managed to get done in about 6 hours. Dead Island Hotel (Texture Issue) http://imgur.com/ijpKXFi Dead Island Palm Tree LOD and Other Nature Objects. http://imgur.com/85B4L4p Dead Island Bush and Exploder Enemy w/o Textures, http://imgur.com/yq2xfh2 Most of the objects come in separate models and need to be put together using 3DS Max. I most likely won't be doing any more work on this due to time and lack of skills with 3DS Max and coding in general. Seeing how Dead Island Definitive edition is being released soon it would be nice if Techland would allow us to easily port the files to the dev tools or offer them as Dev Tools DLC!
