Crane is turning & Will they ever eat food?

Hey guys and good luck in scripting, modding and whatever you want to make perfect such wounderful product like DL!

Let's Go to main title!

I made a mod that changes whole soundtrack of Dying Light, especialy chases at night, on bridges, in tonnels... in quests. Made realistic system of Buffs (food & drink), movment system... fighting. But, there is a couple of questions about REAL ideas how to add more perfomance to game process , so:

- I found known strings in some files, like playerinfection.scr in data / scripts, the main reason is to make link between times when player bitten by poisoned biter or simply poisoned. How can I do that and what strings must use for it?

- One more thing. As I said before, my mod have custom Buff system, so player need to search food/water [water, booze, sugar food and five casual classes - small, medium, large, energy bars and carbonated water in cans [cola, fanta...]], then collect into inventory and use whatever he wants. There is strange floating problem - i'm working with 1.10 & 1.12.1 [Steam] versions. Both of em is working perfect for me. Crane picking up item then eat it... but, all EN users that downloading mod can't do that - game says Inventory_is_full, even if it totally empty. What's wrong with it? I tried hundred variations with inventory.scr & item_sets.loot, with specialinventoryitems.scr and etc. tried too many variables. Nothing. Seems like using in code equipment slots is unusable or bad type of item... but for me all is good. And one more thing... second forum is Russian and all who have downloaded this file said that it's working... crazy :o

I don ´t know why their empty inventory give them the "inventory is full prompt".

make sure they installed the mod correctly.

also there was some zombiefest event

that techland made recently by modifying 

the game scripts, maybe it affected

some users who installed your mod.

i don ´t know what differs between the english and russian game versions

except for the dataSpeech paks.

so you could try to set steam language

settings as English to test the mod.

and there ´s a better forum to ask this

Here is a LINK . If someone really wants to help or test mod, send me PM on nexus and I will throw version with collectable food, cuz already existing file is adapted for Use, not collect.

And what about Turning? Do you have any ideas? So i found infection_fx and playerinfection. Files that can explain duration and hardness of using poison effects, but no words about What effect to use. For example :

I don ´t have the time to test and i downloaded :

Wsa 0.7 fix for steam 1.12

cause other mods were not scanned.

 

i saw the placeholder , you should remove it.

Now if there ´s things that cause problems, try to remove mod folders

one by one and test each time ingame

then you ´ll probably find where ´s the problem.

 

and for the turning effect i don ´t know how it is made , i don't even know

what it is and what you mean?

 

in the developer tools, the player infection

is started with The quest code and player effect sensor or varlist effect.

but this is only a visual effect.
