  1. Prison Heist Loot Currently, there are five tiers of loot for the prison. Tier 0 is the best loot possible, these will be your golden tier weapons. Tier 1 is the next best possible loot, these will be your orange tier weapons. Tier 2 is the third best loot possible, these will be your violet tier weapons. Tier 3 is when you start getting not so good loot, these will be your blue tier weapons. Tier 4 are the green tier weapons. Tier 5 is the worst possible loot, these will be your white tier weapons. Prison Heist Difficulty Times In order to achieve a specific tier, your time of completion needs to be lower than the maximum stated below. There are different times required in different difficulties. Normal Mode Times Tier 0: 8 Minutes Tier 1: 15 Minutes Tier 2: 25 Minutes Tier 3: 40 Minutes Tier 4: 50 Minutes Tier 5: 60 Minutes Hard Mode Times Tier 0: 15 Minutes Tier 1: 25 Minutes Tier 2: 35 Minutes Tier 3: 50 Minutes Tier 4: 70 Minutes Tier 5: 90 Minutes Nightmare Mode Times Tier 0: 25 Minutes Tier 1: 35 Minutes Tier 2: 45 Minutes Tier 3: 70 Minutes Tier 4: 90 Minutes Tier 5: 110 Minutes Loot Room Times Just like the time for completion, there are different times for each mode you play on to loot.   2. I am following all the great video tutorials from Techland itself and many other youtubers so i have learned by now how to add assets but when i place weapons this way then they are not usable. They are solid but static and not being able to pick up. I did find these weapons by searching for pistol, shotgun and machinegun in Meshes. So maybe these are the wrong ones, but i couldn't find any other weapons when i searched for them in the other groups like Collections and Data. Could someone please help because without any gun power it isn't that much fun to test my map each time that i build something on to it, lol. And ofcourse do i also need them in my map. Did find with my search in these forums a tutorial about how to make custom weapons and how to add weapons by player startup but that is not what i mean. I don't want to give the player right away all weapons. So, does someone know? Would be very much apriciated... greetings, Leon
  3. How would I change (or add) starting weapons to my map so when the player spawns they get them automatically?
  4. For the longest time I’ve wanted to perch on top of a tall building in old town and take out some zombies with a sniper but the closest thing I have is the police rifle so a sniper would be a god send or at least a scope for the rifles.

HI there all dying light players Not sure if this thread will ever be seen but hopefully it will because i was unable to create a new topic I have been hunting for fantasy weapons for weeks now and i am still yet to get a single one now , if anybody out there that has xbox one and has UNMODIFIED fantasy weapons that they are willing to duplicate and give me that would be absolutely amazing I have pretty much most things anyone could ever want that i am willing to trade with , such as the dark sickle , the volatile hunter baton , 200000 bolter livers or tissue , 5 mil cash , etc etc Thank you
  6. I would love to fight as the Michelin man and have a super weapon to go with it a tire that you can chuck at the night hunter. Being a robot would be fun with a chainsaw. I would also love a yellow vespa ss 180 with the a blue Rickenbacker 4001 left handed electric bass guitar. a purse with a brick in it would be a interesting weapon. throwing / hitting zombies with plushies would be fun. chucking tridents pinning zombies together or to the ground would be fun. flame thrower would also be intriguing. I wish I had some of my unique sword designs on here. on Halloween week I would love to turn into a werewolf being able to tear zombies apart. random trophies for staring up a zombies skirt would be fun or t bagging different chupacabra zombies for 2 different trophies and a extra one if you get both. another weapon id love to see would be one like in scryed where his fist can launch zombies and kill them.
  7. So what's the best way? I've heard just doing Be The Zombie with friends, but who should win? Who has the highest odds of getting the fantasy weapons? o.o; I'm really confused. Tried winning as the Night Hunter about 60 times, don't even GET rewards. Let friends win about 60 times, no rewards.
  8. Hey there, My weapons and blueprints defined in my default_player_setup.scr are not showing up when I enter the game. The default_player_setup.scr file was taken directly from another mission I made and works fine there, but on a new map I created it is throwing tons of bugs. Another one of those bugs is that all the complex containers (Cars, drops etc.) are not playing their animations or spawning loot. Thanks in Advance, Squirrel.   9. These are all things I think should be added to keep this game going and alive! 1. People need something to work towards, increase the stat trees from 24-25 to 35 adding even more combos, abilities, ect. 2. Weapons, everyone likes stabbing and beating but why not add more guns? A few ideas are a good bolt action sniper, rpg and a lmg. Also camos could be crafted or bought as dlc for $4.99. 3. Also small boats and helicopters. Reason being let's face it, the roads are to hard to rework but the sky and water is still open. Even possibly add "Divers" a water only zombie that is some what powerful and can break your boat. 4. People love killing zombies, to keep them interested add more new weapons and upgrades. Place new weapons in new places. Create a new small part of Harran. 5. Lastly, people will keep asking for it so add findable food and water to hard mode. Along with that add thirst hunger and injury. None of these except #3 and 5 are to hard to code into the game and would be a nice addition.

  13. Guys im in lvl 25 now and I can't find ANY blunt weapons at all in this game, I had alot earlier but not they just stopped existing?? Dafuq? If this is your doing, developers, I would very much like to know why! Because why would you now want to use that two handed sledgehammer and see the zombies go flying? Do you really hate blunt weapons this much? Please put them back in, this doesn't make any sense at all man :/
  14. Hey Techland Can You Remove Virals From or Put Im Only In The Night In The Dying Light Game? If Not It's OK. I Have a Suggestion To Weapons In Dying Light. A Crossbow or a Bow and Arrow. And Can You Put Analog Fighting Style Like In Dead Island? I Love Analog Fighting Style.
  15. the weapon leveling system needs to be fixed so that it is still possible to get other wepons then just swords as you level up!!!! makes getting some trophy's very dificult.
  16. So you all are probably expecting to see the high survivor weapon issue being fixed and I hear that rumors of gold tier weapons. Now this is kind of both question and potentially a request for the devs. Remember in Dead Island how each class of weapon had a specialty orange weapon? Like the hammer was MC Hammer, we had Pick of Destiny, Zeds Demise, etc. Are the the rumors of the Gold tier aiming at just another level of weaponry or are these going to be something fun like this? I haven't seen anything like this yet in the game other than Korek and EXPcalibur and would love to see some kind of throwback towards legitimate legendary weapons like this. Since there hasn't really been any of this and if this is an idea that hasn't been brought up yet, I think that a large part of the community might enjoy something like this.

I would love to see more diversion in gun type: - some kind of sniper rifle would be fun; imagine sitting on top of a building looking a couple of 100 meters far shooting zombies, sound fun right? - a stealth kind of gun would be cool as well: like a crossbow or a normal (olympic, recurve) bow - the last thing that would be great are weapon modifications (blueprints) : different kinds of bullet, suppressors, scopes and so on - a more advanced kind of shotgun would be cool like a spas-12 kind of gun I imagine it is hard to get new things in a game but it would be so cool, (good night) good luck
  18. First off, BEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED. Second off, on a more serious matter, I am a tad disappointed about one thing. Knives are easily my favourite weapon class in the game, they have little damage but make up for that with speed. I also rather enjoy using baseball bats. The thing is, I can't use them anymore. Leveling your survivor rank unlocks new weapons for you to buy via vendors, but unlocking these things also removes older inventory from vendors.. I'm survivor rank 23 now and the only weapons I can use are machetes, swords, pickaxes and guns. This is because these are the only things on the market. No baseball bats, no knives none of the weapons that people like me enjoy using. So please, Techland. I would really appreciate it if you brought back lower level weapons available for purchase, because really what's the point in having 10 mods for baseball bats when you can't even get them. Obviously the damage would need to be buffed for higher levelled players so that your not just bruising and grazing your enemies
  19. Guys, so im maximum level in everything, and i was wondering something.. I dont see anything else besides chupacabra Swords, Katanas, Short Sacrificial swords, egyptian Khopesh's and the occasional Heavy two-bit axe in shops, drops or whatever else you can get weapons from. Are knives even existant at this point of the game? What about Picks? I used to love Climber Picks but they just dont exist anymore.. Id also like to give sledgehammers a try but they simply dont exist. If anyone can actually even trade a knife with me id be greatly appreciated. Does anyone know if the weapons you use throughout the game affect the drops you get later on? Because im tired of using these weapons only, even though they have a lot of damage, i want to try something else. I LOVED the knives and the climber picks so much but they just arent available anymore
  20. Just an idea.. But I think it would be cool if certain safe zones were made a little less safe. Maybe when a player is playing as a zombie, they could use certain skills to blow out the UV lights around the safe zone, bringing a challenge of trying to fix the safe zone, take on the fight or flee to a more secure safe zone, maybe one which has characters stationed within it. Maybe this could open up idea's of special safe zone weapons or defence items.

  22. Reposting here : Alright I'm on version 1.03 on PS4 & I've finally got hit with this bug too. I was aware of it & even went to talk to an NPC before logging off for the night. Went to play this morning & boom, it's all gone. 53 percent into the story. Lost all my weapons, my skills were all at level 13, now zero. Lost all blueprints, supplies, 50 medkits & over 130k in cash. Completely game breaking. There has to be a way for Techland to compensate us who have has this happen & allow us to get our characters back to where they were, get all the lost blueprints & gear back & our weapons & money. Or at least 50-100K to buy back what we lost from shops...

  24. Is there going to be an update on how the guns work? Currently all guns with the same name have the exact same stats. For example I had a blue police rifle, then I did the gunsmith mission and he gave me 2 purple police rifles and a legendary orange police rifle. All of which had the same stats and values. is this on purpose or will there be a fix?
  25. Hey there Techland, I have beaten the game and leveled up to the max and I must say it was a solid in my book. Although I have noticed that all the weapons that I get now are swords. I indeed love swords although I do miss feeling powerless. If you guys could at least give the traders more items to buy such as all sorts of blunt weapons, hatchets, especially bats because I see NPCs holding them and in the background of trader stores but I cant get them ): I would be so grateful and love the game even more if you guys and gals added that into an update of some sort. Me and the guys in NC just wanted to let you know its getting boring being able to kill everything in one swing. But thanks for a working, bloody, zombie game.
