  1. Hi everybody! I can't find how to import my speech, in dialogues cutscenes, or movie? The format of the file Dying Light/DW/SpeechEn/all_quests_local.csb (For example). Opened if somebody data files? Or it is possible to import sounds and speech directly into the editor?
  2. Do the dev tools support importing animated models? Or is there a way to modify a dev tool project to incorporate such an object? How about movies? Can they be made in a way that's not dependent waiting for the movie to end before a quest can continue? Is there another way to animate an object?
  3. Anyone know what's going on here? My imported normal maps are only showing information along the arrow, but not perpendicular to it. The green channel is read properly. Swapping the red and blue channels doesn't seem to fix this.
  4. Hi all. Im in the process of creating an Australian themed map (Left 4 X) (Aussies will get it) I have created some new assets in 3dsmax and exported them. Take this phone box as an example: However I cant get the alpha mesh to work or the glass. Any tips on creating alpha maps? Also notice the maps change orientation and size.... cheers in advance, Ian (steam=Ludders)
  5. Hello there. I'm a 3d artist, and I'm looking to run through the pipeline of importing a new 3d environment asset into Dying Light. Are there any guides on importing a mesh and textures? Is this possible with the current toolkit? Where are the .msh files located? The in-editor 'Show In Explorer' seems to not be functional, as are neither of the Perforce options. The attributes window only gives the location as "meshes/[mesh name]" Where are the textures and material stored? Is there an asset editor/browser, where I could do things like change materials? Or is this all handled by scripts? I appreciate any helpful, constructive responses. This toolkit is really exciting! I only really have art skills to contribute to mods, though, and I'm anxious the toolkit does not (yet) allow it. Edit: Did a bit of digging, and while I couldn't locate the editor options button, you can access it via an error prompt from Source button on the animation tab. Within the options, there are flags for Material Editor settings. Yet, no material editor. The mystery deepens.
  6. Hello Everyone, I think it would be awesome if you fine people at Techland would have a file type importer that recognized Rhino 5 files and Revit files. I am an architecture student and I love the idea of importing my building models into the game. I have seen it done in other games with Sketchup files but support for Revit/Rhino would take it to another level. Any chance of something like this happening? I am just starting my modding adventure so any advice comments would be helpful, thanks! -Skuba
