  1. Still no fix for game crashing when traveling to Italy and Colombia. Still no fix for not being able to buy sheep in Germany. The biggest issues still haven't been addressed. C'mon guys! These updates need to be more frequent. You can't release an update for consoles every month. I don't believe for a second this is Microsoft's or Sony's fault, when other games do it in a matter of days.
  2. So, do we console players get to wait another month for this update?
  3. I doubt that the console can't handle this game, when FS 17 works pretty good with 60fps and with much better graphics. The problem is that the game is not optimized for consoles. It is deeply flawed and very wrong at the core. These updates so far show that they're grasping at straws. I expect these problems won't be fixed not even in the next five updates. They basically have the game still in its beta stage. Simple as that. I love the game, and I'm rooting for it to succeed. But in its current stage, with 60% of the game playable (only 3 locations out of 5 load without problems), I can't continue playing it as well. I'm heartbroken, because there's only a couple of games that have had this effect on me, and I have to stop playing, at least until these problems have been fixed. God damn you Techland/Iceflames!!!
  4. Their Facebook page. Apparently it's where they announce things now...
  5. Can't fault you for that. Good thing I've a PS4 as well
  6. Also available on Xbox store. Can only assume that PSN already has it available.
  7. So, as of now, I can't load the game in Italy at all. The game crashes every time. Tried to travel to Italy from every map and the result is the same: crash! Tried to start a new game and travel from one place to another. Italy starts doing this even from the start. At first, the game takes longer than usual to load, but it does after a couple of minutes. But, as you start purchasing new fields and add new equipment to the map, the game seems to not like this and the loading times take longer each time you travel there. It seems to build up, right until the moment where it can't load anymore and just crashes. This has to be the most polarizing game I have ever played: on one hand, it has great gameplay and brilliant ideas with a variety of tasks; on the other hand, it's an absolute disaster in technical terms with bugs aplenty. Technically, it's The worse experience I've had in over 25 years of gaming. As a game, though, it's one of the most satisfying experiences I've had in over 25 years of gaming (only Elite Dangerous and FS 17 can get into the same club). All of this, with the same game. How is this possible? My question to the developers: have you guys even played your game? Like, seriously, really play the game like a proper gamer, and see the myriad of problems the game has from the point of view of a gamer. 90% of all these bugs and game-lacking features (real time, high fuel consumption, etc...) could've been avoided had you played the game properly. Such promise with a beautiful game, and yet such poor execution. What a waste of great ideas. There's an update coming, but my expectations right now are very low. It will probably fix some problems, and cause a few others in the process.
  8. UPDATE 2: The game doesn't even load completely when traveling to Italy (and Colombia) anymore. Just crashes. Have tried multiple times, but it just keeps crashing. UPDATE: So, I decided to wait for the game to load in Italy, and it turns out it does load, but only after about 20 minutes. Colombia suffers from the same issue as well. This is not ideal, of course, but if you have patience (which I'm sure you have lots, if you're still playing the game), you can get to Italy. I also found out that this happens in Japan, too, although the loading times are about 5 minutes. Yet another bug to crush, hopefully in the next update. Hey guys, So, I've come across another big bug in the game. This time, I can't go to Italy, as the game stays indefinitely in the loading screen. I've already hard reset my console, reinstalled the game. Nothing works. I had previously been farming in Montana, Japan, and Germany (in that order), and decided to expand my farm to Italy. The first time, I got there without problems. Bought a couple of new devices (water cistern and sprayer). However, when I attempted to go there a second time to harvest my orchards, the game stays in the loading screen, right almost to the end, but never finishes loading. This is getting so frustrating. After not being able to buy sheep in Germany, now I have an even bigger issue with the game, as now I can't actually travel to a location. You guys now that I'm one of the best advocates of the game and have been having a great time, despite all its bugs and issues. But this is beyond frustrating. I want to continue playing, because I really like the game, but bug after bug, it's just getting so damn tiresome. It seems as though the more you play the more likely the chances of getting a game-breaking bug. I hope the much anticipated update fixes all these problems, because right now, the game is so unstable, you don't know when the next issue is going to appear.
  9. They know about the bug, but I'm not sure if it'll be fixed in next week's update. Also an Xbox player. We'll have to wait and see.
  10. Hey guys, Have you come across this bug? - Can't seem to buy any sheep in the German map. I stand inside the green circle outside the stable, but nothing happens, no button prompt, nothing. Tried to save and reload, traveled back and forth between maps. Nothing works. I can buy fodder, but not actual sheep. It's a shame, because wool sells really well. I didn't have this problem when I was playing the campaign, but now in Free Farming it doesn't work. Hope there's a fix soon. EDIT: Tried a new save in Free Farming, starting in Germany, and the bug is still there. Can't buy any sheep, because the button prompt never appears. So frustrating Can any of you confirm if this is happening with your game? Xbox player, by the way, if that helps.
  11. Yep, I experienced that, too. And I'm on Xbox One. First time that happened. I insisted a couple of times after that and it loaded, only after another 20 minutes or so. I have also experienced the long loading time in Colombia now, as well. Sent a ticket to support, but the help they give you leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully the next update can fix this somehow.
  12. Yes, when the notifications work, which is not always...
  13. Just sell them on their last day before they get old. Can't remember when exactly for each animal, but I think that info is in the game's encyclopedia section.
  14. Well, they mentioned around release, but we're over a month beyond release now, and still no word about this. @James Gallagher, any news on this topic? Thanks.
  15. I remember reading in a post by a dev team member that they were looking to add the orange DLC at some point for console players. If that wasn't possible, they would've said it right away. No point in misleading us.
  16. But, but... I wanted the orange orchards in Italy. OK, any DLC is good and quite welcoming, but I really want that damn Orange DLC that's currently Gemly exclusive, and impossible for console players to get. Every time I go to Italy and see those walled orchards, I'm reminded that the map is incomplete.
  17. Yeah, this feature needs some fixing. It's useful, but not that reliable.
  18. Has any of you noticed how the notifications section on the tablet screws up sometimes. And it gets worse as you keep adding tasks and other things on the other locations. The problem is that something which, for example, takes 3 days to get ready, suddenly shows up as 2 days remaining, or if it's something that should be ready in 1 day, it shows up as 3 days still. I see this happening constantly with my Apple Orchard 1. I have now farms on all 5 locations in Free Farming, and I see that the game keeps chupacabra up the times. Yesterday, I was travelling to Germany at 8:00 in the evening, and as I arrived, stuff that should've been ready only at midnight suddenly got brought forward by 1 day, some ready to collect. Stuff that had 2 days remaining suddenly said 1 day. And, when it really got to midnight, all those tasks got brought forward yet another day. So, in the space of 4 hours, I saw 2 days worth of tasks being ready to collect. It's not just the notifications that get screwed up. Tasks actually get brought forward by 1 day. I didn't see this at the beginning, because I didn't have many tasks, but now with over 20 different things to keep track, the game seems to get confused. Very annoying.
  19. Which one do you think is more realistic? One that magically changes seed with an option, or the other which can only have one type of seed at a given time? Unless it's a seeder with multiple tanks
  20. Silage is not worth it to sell, in my opinion, unless you want to use it. You have to wrap it and wait a couple of days for it to be ready, just to be sold at $200. Too much work for little reward.
  21. Have you guys noticed how your tractors need to be repaired all the time. It's ridiculous how often they become damaged. We need to fire that mechanic . Almost every in-game day I need to fix something in my tractor (currently using the JCB Special Edition), whether it's the engine or because it can't attach to something due to faulty suspension or rear lift. And it isn't cheap to fix all these problems either. Dear Techland, please revise how often our tractors need to be fixed. Pretty please
  22. I need to get a new tractor and see if it's just the JCB or a problem in general. But they do need repairs pretty often. I wish we could have an option to turn it off. That's what's missing in this game as well. Options to turn on and off many of the game's features. Not everybody likes to play with the same settings.
  23. I did noticed that when I was playing the campaign. But since then, and with the patches, started a new save and things got back to normal.
  24. This was already discussed here and there in other topics, but we need a dedicated one, so the developers take notice. Storage space in other countries is pointless. There's just no logic in storing anything, because most of these buildings don't hold enough of one single harvest, let alone multiple ones. We can't play the markets and wait for better prices, because the storage space is too small. We are forced to sell at whatever price is currently being used. Not fun... One example is Japan: the cherry storage is just 40t, and there's just one storage building. One single harvest of all three orchards, however, is a whooping 100t. It doesn't make any sense. Italy is another example, as with so many vineyards and olive orchards, there's just not enough space to store much of one single harvest if you have several fields. Only Montana has a good storage space, because we can upgrade the silos and there are several of them scattered throughout the map. We just need proper balancing with the other locations to play the markets and make the game more interesting. What do you guys think?
  25. This is another annoying thing I've noticed when I'm in Japan. There are too many pedestrians, and they're so annoying and nosy. They don't respect private property and walk right through your fields and orchards. We need to teach them some boundaries .
