    All I can be definite on is that it's not something we have for launch. But at the same time we're not ruling anything out for the future.

    Hey there, sorry for the delay - I wanted to make sure I was giving you the most up to date info.

    Multiplayer won't be in the game at launch but we are exploring it as a potential update in the future.

    Running on PS4 Pro, the game will have longer draw distance and better shadow effects/post process effects automatically on.

    There are no specific enhancements for Xbox One X at the moment.

    1. Currently not but we've had this request before and the dev team are aware. Just double-checked and the option to disable the HUD has just been added to the PC version as of today. The game also supports Ansel if you have a Geforce graphics card. On consoles it is planned but will come via an update shortly after release, due to differences in submission processes.

    2. Animal lifespans are the kind of thing that does get tweaked over the dev process, so it is possible there may have been some out of date info previously. Currently rabbits live for around 8 days.

    3. Thanks for the suggestion. We will be adding more crops but can't say right now exactly what or when, as it's still being worked on.

    Hi there, we don't know exactly where these screens are from it looks like the second screen is simply being played on lower graphics settings than the first. Rest assured that the time between preview builds had only allowed us to make sure the game looks and runs better.

    By now you may have seen videos based on a preview version of the game we shared with a few YouTubers familiar with the farming genre. If you haven't seen those, take a look at the links at the bottom of this post.

    We'd love to get your feedback based on what you've seen in those videos. Anything you liked or didn't like, or just think should be a little different - we want to hear it.

    All of your feedback will be taken on board by the dev team so this is a chance to let us know what you think we should focus on.

    Yes, if you don't sell your older animals at the slaughterhouse then they will disappear from your farm, making space for more animals. And also yes - if you don't harvest your crops then after a time they will wither.

  7. Hey guys, krd1749 has summed it up pretty well.

    The Montana map is the largest in the game and has the widest range of crops. There are 41 fields where you can grow wheat, barley and more.

    On the overseas farms each field is designed to grow a specific crop: rice in Japan, olives or grapes in Italy etc. This makes sense when you see it in the game because, for example, rice fields are underwater so wouldn't be appropriate for growing something like wheat.

    And yes, in Free Farming you can move between countries whenever you like. The entire thing is part of one connected business, rather than standalone maps.

  10. We're still working with Sony to get the game up on PS Store in the US. I don't have a date for that but it will definitely be there before release, and you will be able to get the Germany DLC.

    Generally you won't be dumping crops on the ground as you're going to either want them in the back of a trailer or in a silo after harvesting, but certain objects like bales can be placed on the floor and manoeuvred as long as you have the right equipment.

    Hey, sorry just getting to this -

    1. Currently the game is single-player but multiplayer is something we're exploring.

    2. In My First Farm mode, which is like the campaign, there are other farmers who you will offer you jobs for extra cash - kind of like side quests. It might be to water their orchards because their workers let them down, or deliver a harvest of pears into town to sell. And yes you'll be heading into town to sell crops directly to customers, such as hotels in Italy that will buy your olives, and a dairy in Montana that will buy milk.

    3. The dynamic market affects your selling price rather than the price of seeds, so you might decide to focus on one crop that is selling at a high price, but there's always the risk that prices could drop by the time you've harvested. Looking after your crops well -- i.e. choosing to cultivate the field, watering properly and fertilizing -- generally results in a higher yield, so more crops to sell rather than better quality crops. We don't currently have anything like crossbreeding of crops, but we're definitely open to suggestions for updates in the future.

    Hey there! So this one really depends on the game mode you're playing in. In My First Farm, which you can think of as the campaign mode, you're guided through all aspects of farming and it is some way in that you start to expand overseas.

    In Free Farming you have total control, so you can even choose which farm you start on. But most players will probably start in Montana and then head overseas once they've get a few crops growing and some money coming in.

    Farming Challenges - the third mode - are set across different locations and each take about an hour each, so they a good and fairly quick way to explore each of the farms and their unique crops.

    We really appreciate all of the feedback you’ve given us since the update and we’re reading all of it very closely. Balancing an asymmetrical game mode like BtZ is a challenge, but your input helps us immensely, so thank you. 

    Right now we’re reviewing everything you’re telling us, and we’ll of course keep you informed of any more changes as a result.

    Here's the first in a new series of videos we are working on, taking you a little deeper on some of the mechanics in Pure Farming 2018.

    Time management is very important in our game. Many tasks can be completed instantly via your tablet, but it usually costs more than firing up a machine and doing the job yourself.

    This applies to fuel management -- keeping your machines topped up with regular visits to the gas station will save you money vs. refueling using your tablet.

    This is a partial list and we are always talking to new manufacturers to get them on board. We're also planning to add new machines after launch. So while we can't mention brands that we are still in discussions with, we can tell you that's we're adding more to the game all the time.

    The game will be available on disc for all platforms on the same day - March 13, 2018. You'll be able to buy it at all the usual good retailers.

    Towards the end of last year we asked for your feedback on the general balance of Be the Zombie mode. We were hearing that you felt the Night Hunter was underpowered, but we wanted hear your specific points on what you'd like to see us change.

    Thanks for all of your input - based on what you told us we have made some changes to BtZ. These changes are now live:

    Drop Attack (AKA 'Death from Above')
    Height required increased
    Grab distance reduced

    UV Flashlight 
    Distance reduced (in 2 vs. 1 to 4 vs. 1 matches)
    Cool down time increased
    Initial cost increased (so that flicking the flashlight on and off repeatedly drains it more quickly)

    Explosion radius increased
    Explosion delay reduced
    Effect duration for Control The Horde and Light Disable increased
    Cool down times decreased (in 3 vs. 1 and 4 vs. 1 matches)

    Survivor Sense
    Night Hunter now appears on Survivors' mini-map(s) for less time

    Auto-balance reduced overall.


    We hope these changes make Btz even more enjoyable for everyone and, of course, please let us know what you think.

  18. Update your game and go to your Quartermaster to get the free Gun Silencer Blueprints — which have been added to Dying Light by popular demand.

    The silencer doesn’t break and it has no cool down, so you can use it as much as you like. It does require special Subsonic Ammo, which you can find by looting police vans around Harran.
